“I would definitely say that in all of Greenwich, this is the most authentic mexican food there is. They're reasonably priced, parking can be difficult, but overall I have yet to have a bad experience here! The guacamole is amazing! Sometimes i just come in for that”

“Anyone who does not give a good rating on the coffee knows nothing about coffee and probably drinks Starbucks and buys their coffee at the grocery store. Adonis purchases great beans and roasts them to perfection every time. There is nowhere better in the area.”

“The Staff is excellent from the valets to the maître d', waiters and helpers and restroom attendant. Nice wine selection and knowledgeable waiters. The Chef must love their job because each plate is served beautifully presented and delicious, whether it’s caviar and all the trimmings or oysters or their beautiful salads. I opted for the amazing zucchini flowers which were a special tonight rather than a salad. They were phenomenal and rivaled the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! (Italian grandma, enough said) I did have salad envy when I saw the other plates at our table. My dinner was a chicken, shrimp and veg dish, delicious. Dessert? Don’t skip it, even if you share it. Get two. Life is short. The Napoleon is light and exquisite and not your average Napoleon. The tiramisu is delicate and moist and delicious. Thank you for a lovely evening. I’ll be back.”

“This is my second time ordering catered trays of food from here and it has been above satisfactory! For our Christmas gathering we got two large trays of chicken marsala & eggplant rollatini which were phenomenal. The amount of food was incredible for the price! We were able to feed our party of 10 plus leftovers for everyone. Added plus was the incredible garlic knots! Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond!”

“Recently held a conference in this hotel and the entire staff at this hotel made it amazing! From the delicious catering to the rooms and amenities, we had a fantastic experience! Dinner at Tony’s was incredible and it was even more amazing when Tony came and played a trivia game with all of us! The laughter and fun we had was just what we needed and it really was fantastic! “Walked in with my family with the hopes of buying a birthday cake for a last minute birthday dinner and I am so glad we did! They had so many fresh cake options for purchase and sweets available. The staff were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. We loved the cake so much we went back the next month and got two dozen cupcakes for my daughters birthday celebration at school and then ordered a custom cake for her party. Dimare is truly a gem!!”

“If you find yourself in Greenwich, and want to pay NYC prices for fresh food, stop by Debra Ponzek's cafe. This location may be her first. I've always liked their hazelnut coffee, and today met my standard. The White Meat Green Goddess chicken salad offered small pieces of chicken in a dressing that surprised you with bits of tarragon and watercress. I didn't closely read the label of the chickpea side salad and was pleasantly surprised by the Roquefort cheese. It provided a tang to an otherwise "to be expected" side. The portions are small, yet together the two made a perfect meal. Most everything is self service and the empty hazelnut carafe was quickly replaced. The staff had few smiles to share, and maybe the gray day was the reason. Given that it's Greenwich, the staff may have been tired by an exhausting clientele. Sitting outside to eat and read is lovely, and there are tables with umbrellas that can handle quite a few for lunch.”

“Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich. I travel all over CT for work and have had many bacon egg and cheese sandwiches at various places. This is hands down one of the best bacon egg and cheese I've had. Some places use microwave bacon (gross) but everything here was fresh and tastes great. 2 sandwiches for 10$. Not a bad deal. Only down side is parking is limited.”

There was a real variety of clientele from dates to families to a private event going on in their wine room (well-separated from the restaurant, just got a peek). “This is like being in Paris in Darien. The crêpes were the best I’ve ever had. The savory crêpes were so elegant and delicious. I didn’t think you could make sweet crêpes any better than the ones I’ve had in the past however they were better than any I’ve had in the past. The service was authentic in excellent. “I just stopped for lunch. Not from the area and never heard of this place. I work construction all over Connecticut. We were working right down the street. Being pressed for time I decided to stop. I ordered a burger and fries to go. Within 10 minutes I was walking out the door. Food in hand. And I have to say for the same price as a meal deal from McDonald’s I had one of if not the BEST burger ever!! This place is awesome!! I will be back!”

“This cafe is incredible! The ambiance is so relaxed, clean and open. The drinks are very interested, delicious and well crafted. If you go, you have to try the pistachio croissant. This is hands down the best croissant I've ever had in my life. It's got the perfect texture, perfectly balanced flavor of pistachios, butter and almond. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also check out their merch section, they've got some super cool things from local vendors!”
