“Stopped by for take out. Seafood combo of scallops (large) shrimp and clams over linguine. Lots of chopped clams in the mix olive oil and garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious. My friend had veal picata over linguine. He enjoyed as well. Decor was not what I expected. Felt a bit like a refurbished diner. I think they could add additional Tuscan flavor to help make the in house dining more inviting. But, the food was the star and female waitstaff extremely friendly. You won't be disappointed“
“if you're looking for the family feel while getting a great pizza, some apps or dinners; this is the place to be!! their dough is made fresh never frozen, and their dinners are 100% made right there from scratch...you wont find better food from a pizza place! most importantly, the owners of Giovanni's care about their customers, and you will always leave satisfied!“
“Aziago's is THE PLACE for catering, and they were able to accommodate my food order for Christmas Day relatively close to the holiday. Due to multi-house traveling, I didn't have the ability to cook my Christmas dinner for family when they came over to my house for Christmas. Aziago pricing was extremely reasonable for catering. Sometimes, during the holidays, restaurants will double they prices for catering on the same dishes they serve on a regular night (I know from calling around). This was not my experience with Aziago. They were fairly priced and had a wide range of options to choose from (another restriction many restaurants have for holidays). The food was DELICIOUS. I chose to order alot of the classic Italian dishes in catering sizes vs. the standard Christmas dinner fare. It's probably some of the best catering I've had from a local restaurant. I didn't get a chance to eat there but the inside of their restaurant is beautiful (especially during the holiday). I will not only use them for catering next year, but I will 100% be dining in to enjoy their in restaurant experience. They won me over in a time when I needed help the most. Repeat customer earned“
“amazing pizza!! we ordered 10 party size pizzas today and they came out perfect. we got -meat lovers -clam casino -buffalo chicken -florentine -mousakka -cheese all were awesome! everyone at the party raved about the pizza! and everyone kept asking where it was from!“
“Have visited this restaurant under the new ownership twice. Once for takeout and tonight to dine in. Both experiences were wonderful and most importantly, the food was delicious. For take out we got the chicken parm and for dine in I had the chicken piccata. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommended!“
“We had a dinner party for my aunt's birthday there. It was her and her late husbands favorite place. I had never been there but it didn't disappoint. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, nothing fancy about the inside but food was very good. Escarole and bean soup with sausage was great, and my chicken scarapello was spicy and tasty. 3 in our party had prime rib and they said if was excellent. My brother has fettuccine carbonara and raved about it. Overall a very pleasant meal and best of all the portions were huge and priced reasonable. I'll definitely be going back to try some other items on menu or specials that caught my eye.“
“Friendly people and good food. My wife and I received a gift certificate and finally decided to use it. We were very pleased. My wife had the eggplant parm 12" grinder and I had the sausage parm 12" grinder. From the first bite to the last we both enjoyed our grinders. The first thing that you will notice when you pick it up is the weight. They were heavy! The flavor of the sauce is perfect. My wife said she had 4 big pieces of eggplant and plenty of red and green peppers. The flavor was very good. My sausage was stuffed and overflowing with sausage and peppers. I really enjoyed this grinder. Who knew that I have such a great choice for grinders right around the corner! On a side note, I caught a glimpse of the thick pizza. It looks just like the pizza my grandmother used to make. I can't wait to try some of that. Sorry no pictures, we were too hungry and with the smell of these two grinders filling the truck, it's amazing that they made it home.“
“I liked their pizza, didn't have anything other than that. I got the BBQ chicken and asked them to make the BBQ sauce the base instead of red sauce - super sweet and good amount of sauce! We also got two gluten free pizzas which my party said they enjoyed. We had some special requests and they did their very best to accommodate our order. Not a huge fan of square cut pizza, but I bet if you asked them to cut differently they would. I'd try this place again.“
“My wife was craving a local pizza pie, not too fancy, a little watery on the sauce, and cheesy and crisp. It was past 10 and with most spots closed, we chose JD’s on a whim and grabbed a medium pepperoni and onion with a garlic and cheese. What a fantastic late night dive! (Using “dive” in the most wholesome sense of the word!) Upon pickup, I found an incredibly small and local crowd, gathered watching the game at the bar while a couple cuddled and chatted quietly in a corner of the dining room. Checkout was great - very attentive and you can’t beat the price for a homemade late night meal. We loved the food, too! Exactly what we wanted. It felt classic New England bar, similar to pizzerias we ate in growing up for birthdays and family parties. A stiff and chewy crust in all the best ways, with a watery and non-seasoned tomato-based sauce. Exactly what we were looking for. And the garlic bread was to die for, immediately fulfilling her savory, cheesy, greasy craving! Great portions, great to see a family-oriented spot with a calm and welcoming late night crowd. We visited a second time the next week and plan to do so again in the future. Thanks, JD’s!Parking: There’s a right number of spots behind the adjacent Taco Bell, but it does the job for a free and easy to access lot.“
“I stopped in with my fiancé today. He got a sandwich and I ordered the fresh fruit salad and mozzarella tomato salad. I went to my car and opened both containers and the fresh fruit salad had gone bad. I took it in and the team was absolutely excellent at exchanging it. They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!“
“This rating is truly a 4.5 stars but I can only give 4, which is a world BETTER than my initial 2 star review here! I do love a good 180 turn around story and let us begin with my Waitress Kim. She is an outstanding part of this establishment. Her area had a good amount of people to take care of upon my arrival and I seen her zipping around and double backing to check on the food and customer satisfaction amidst running food to the tables. She was definitely on her A-Game!! Even my own experience with Kim was a good one, she is polite and friendly too. I went with the Kizl's Super Slam, which my tray was filled with hash browns, 2 fried eggs, white toast, 2 pieces of French toast and home fries. I added a side of kielbasa and also a side of extra crisp bacon. My bacon was cooked to perfection. Crispy with low sodium flavor. Had a hickory kick to it, could had been maple but I was so in the moment of the crispiness, that it didn't even matter. Even my kielbasa was cooked to appreciation. Kielbasa is a greasy little boo thang and so I warn you to be careful with this one. Decent flavor overall and a lovely snap on the skin, which is always a win in my book You can't really destroy eggs. I added some salt and pepper to mine and they were just fine but I can say that my French toast was nice and soft, with a hint of cinnamon lust sprinkled about and buttery. Add in some sweet syrup and your mouth is a happy one. The toast wasn't over cooked. Soft and crisp, buttered up; whereas all I added was some jelly for my belly and BOOM. Whatever toast heaven this was, I was in attendance for. My home fries were also soft and the potato was fresh. Again, not overcooked to the point of being dried out but checked and adored upon that grill. Nobody is to blame here for they were good. Hash Browns, though having a decent addition of onions and some green peppers just didn't do it for me overall. I could not put my finger on the overall flavor but it was enough for one and done fork full. All in all, my experience here was BETTER than last time. Excellent Job!!“
“We went here for a family dinner and really liked it. The food was good and the service was great. The staff were very attentive. It was a little loud as they were very busy but not too bad. We had a reservation and were seated further away from the bar, which helped. The food portion was generous, and everyone was pleased with their order.“
