“food was like eating a TV dinner except it was on a plate. Ibam sad we stayrd local, our plan was to drive to west Hartford. That wasn't even the part that was most disappointing....when handed the bill I questioned why the drinks were charged 1.50 more than the menu price....the answer oh that's our old menu. we'll then toss them out and give the new menu to customers....fale advertising is illegal. Ask your distributors to print new ones for you. I happen to work for one that would be more than happy to print new menus with correct pricing in exchange for a couple menu placements.“
“Every single time I come here they make sure my Meeks are perfect. They keep the store perfectly clean and always have a smile on their face. Malachi and Alana served me this time and made sure I was Welcomed to Moe’s and were very quick to get my food accurately and speedy, with a smile and enjoyable conversation while keeping the line moving. I have been coming here for a long while now but everytime I come in Alana has a perfect service. They clearly know what they are doing with the food being fresh everytime I come and the food on the grill for the perfect amount of time. Fantastic hires. The seats I walked by and sat in were spotless. This Moe’s is clearly the best Moe’s I’ve been in in the past couple years. Managers do a great job with their hires and a great job training. “Very good tacos were loaded with lots of meat, lettuce, shredded cheese, and tomatoes. Order was ready in less than 5 minutes the wait was not long at all. I would recommend more people to this Taco Bell on Queen Street than the truck stop one.“
“I have been in this location numerous times both to dine and also for doordash. The speed they prepare a proper burrito (wrapped not torn up or having ingredients falling out) is awesome to watch. Not only that but it seems to me that time of day doesn't matter. The employees during the day time are incredibly friendly even sharing book preferences or great casual/personable conversation all while working together effectively. The night crew as well is incredible and exhibits the same attitude. Charles took care of me last time I went in. Wonderful experience start to finish. They are also very great at maintaining service quality while breaking down for close. I say this as a man with roughly 6-7 years restaurant experience as a server, cook, dishwasher, host and manager. Great experience. I feel this location deserves a bit of love from corporate as i rarely have a bad experience. It's some hateful people that review and chock one bad experience up to being "It UsED tO Be GOoD bUt iTs GonE DoWn HiLL" and saddens me that so often people go out of their way to be negative but rarely to commend. An incredibly consistent experience with some really awesome teams working together. Keep up the work crew and Charles...you the man.“
“This place has become a weekly stop for me. I hit it up at the start of the week and by mid week I'm already thinking about my next visit. These are great tacos starring some amazing handmade tortillas and flavorful meat fillings. After trying some other taco spots in the area I've come to the conclusion that if these aren't 5 star tacos then 5 star tacos don't exist.“
“This place is an amazing late night venue. It's chill, the food is good and above all else this restaurant is honest. In my day honesty meant something, it's what made a man a good man. This place put tacos in the name because they make a good taco, no! They make an amazing taco. The "taco" in Don Taco is their badge of honor, integrity, and super ridiculous tastiness. “We tried this place based off the photos and recommendations from the locals. The portions are not the same.. The burrito mostly rice, wouldn’t kill to throw some veggies in there like grilled onions, peppers, etc. and the street corn while it was very tasty looked like a baby cob. Will try it again because it’s pretty good for Mexican food compared to other places in the area.“
“Ever since moving here from Texas we’ve been looking for good Mexican food. It is rare to find a place with authentic “sazón” but this place makes the cut. Being of Hispanic descent, we tend to be pretty picky about Mexican food but it was excellent. Their bar is well stocked too and the drinks were on the money. The atmosphere is a bit crowded but I would expect that from a place that’s as good as this. The owner stopped in to say hello, chatted a bit and really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back and likely make this one of our regular spots.“
“The service is always excellent at PV Southington. As you can see from the pics, great presentation of the food and drinks. I had the peppers and filet mignon. I am generally not a fan of filet, but this dish was excellent. Meet was super tender and the peppers grilled perfectly. Tortilla soup was a tad salty for my taste, but the person who ordered it loved it. Margs are always presented in a very nice way. The fare is a slight notch above the typical dishes at your average Mexican restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend Puerto Vallarta if you are in the area.“
