“I have said it before and I will say it again. Olio is far superior than any other restaurant in the area. Everything from the Octopus and the yucca fries to the chicken parm and the pork chop are some of the best I have ever had. This restaurant always pushes the limits of innovation and always has fresh quality products (including the ingredients) on its menu. What puts this restaurant over the top is the home feel that you get from Steve the owner and chef. “The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!“

“We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant had a large bar area along with two spacious dining areas. We started with an appetizer, the Wheel Fire Bread. It was a great start, smoked ricotta, hot honey and roasted almonds. It was delicious. For my entree I had the Wheelhouse burger which was absolutely delicious. A nice thick burger cooked a perfectly medium rare. My girlfriend ordered the Chilaquiles which were a large serving and were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back to try other items on their brunch and dinner menus.“

“I've been to The Americano, a new trendy eatery in downtown Stamford twice and thought it time to give this restaurant a review. Simply put, it's exceptional and thankfully, a big hit. The word of mouth has really helped since I frequently hear people talking about it. Our party of three dined on a Saturday night. Our server, I wish I knew his name, was polite, helpful, and efficient. When he brought the wrong drink (things happen) he quickly fixed the issue and was gracious throughout. We enjoyed the Burrata and Truffle Arancini as starters, and the Hangar Steak, Salmon, and Scallops with a side of truffle fries and a side of spinach. For dessert, the caramel bread pudding. For drinks, the raspberry thyme, margarita, and gimlet. Each and every item was exceptional! As a courtesy, the kind manager gave us free drink vouchers for a nightcap at the bar. The Americano is run incredibly well with a caring, knowledgeable staff and a cool hip ambiance with black, white, and red atmosphere. It's always crowded which is proof that the restaurant is being appreciated as one of the new Stamford hits of 2023 and beyond.“

“Had a treat of a lunch here. Food was warm and fresh. I don’t do this much but I want to give a big shout out to my server Kelsey or should I say little moon. She had such a big and great smile I called her little moon and she must have blushed and laughed. My chow was a little late and she brought me a free refill on ginger ale, the little things can go a long way. Very kind and prompt person and made us feel comfortable and happy to be around her. “This was our first visit to Farmhouse at the Crossroads. We ate outside on their lovely patio. The food was superb, the service attentive and the overall experience was wonderful. One of our favorites of the evening was the carpresse salad with fresh burrata and delicious cucumber sorbet, although everything we ate was amazing!“

“Literally come with my bf just for their karaoke nights on Thursdays and Sundays with the fabulous DJ Chris and to visit bartenders Jessica and Tommy, the absolute best companions for this bar. Pretty laidback chill spot with pool tables, darts, nice background music and outside tables too. Hopefully the video gives a better glimpse of the bar appearance.Parking: It’s a pretty tight spot for parking. Maybe about 6-8 spots at most. But there’s always sidewalk parking in front of the bar as well as across the street or next to the supermarket.Kid-friendliness: It can be pretty family-friendly for the most part. All the remaining adults arrive after 9/10pm.“

“Welcome to my favorite Irish Pub in Stamford CT. I love this place, the bartenders HUSTLE and they all treat you as if your the only person in the bar!!! The food is amazing, I would eat her everyday if I could. And the ambiance is just what you would expect for an Irish bar. “It's a really cute place for a Sunday afternoon during football season. The prices felt a bit high, but honestly, their pizza is worth the cost. Everything we ordered was good - I just can't give 5 stars to a place that charges for soda refills when it's a sports bar. Also, $13 for 4 chicken tenders (no fries, just tenders) seems pretty pricey to me. Service was great and the atmosphere is what you'd expect for a sports bar. Overall a solid 4, maybe 4.5 stars, but they need to revisit their refill policy for the fountain drinks.Parking: The lot can be hectic but we had no problem getting a spot. Getting out of the lot at the light was a bit dicey...Kid-friendliness: They have the basics for any kid, so no problem getting them to eat here.“

“The food here is superb. Ordered take out twice and sat for dinner once. I was more than surprised at the quality of food served here and def would recommend anything on the menu. Staff is a little wonky when you go pick up food late at night. I was asked for my ID picking up an order at 8:45pm during the week. I know they check for that later in the evening bc of the bar/club atmosphere, but at 8:45pm, really?! Lol! Def highly recommend though!!“
