“Parlor is a nice pizza spot in Stratford. They have many Food Blogger fans and I decided to visit after a trip to nearby Two Roads Brewery. Parlor seems to specialize in creative individual-sized pizzas. Not that the pizzas are small, but Parlor is the type of place where everyone would order one pizza and share. I ordered creative pizzas like the BBQ chicken and Loaded Potato, but you could get more traditional pizzas as well. The crust had some New Haven char, but otherwise, the crust didn't remind me of New Haven. Maybe because the pizzas are individually sized. The outer crust had a different vibe. Almost pastry-ish with good chew. Otherwise, the crust was more crispy, but not overly so. Parlor's execution of the toppings was above average. But for me, neither pizza was in the top tier for places serving similar pizzas. Parlor was good and I would return if I was in the area. Four Stars“
“I went here yesterday for my birthday with my husband. First off we were greeted immediately when we came in and were able to sit anywhere we wanted. Our server Rehna came over right away and was super friendly. I wasn't sure what cocktail to choose and she brought me a specialty cocktail menu. I can't remember the name of the drink but it had a cucumber taste and I think there was also muddled mint in it. It was SO FREAKIN GOOD!!!! Our food came out quick, but not too quick allowing us a chance to settle in. Everything was delicious and cooked and plated to our asking. (I am one of those people who like things "on the side") and might be annoying to some but not her. It was exactly as I asked. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay ? and it was great. Thank you so much for making my special day even better. We live in Southbury now but my husband grew up in Stratford and has been there many many times. When we are in the area again we will be sure to stop in again.“
“This was our first time ordering from Gregory's. We had the food delivered. We ordered a large bacon and onion pizza, which was pretty decent. The sauce was a bit on the bland side and the bacon wasn't salty. Their Cobb salad with chicken was outstanding. The best I have ever had. It didn't need any dressing. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and seasoned so well. Their wings had no seasoning. I say, use the seasoning used on the chicken breast. That would make those wings amazing. The garlic bread with cheese was excellent, garlicky. This was an overall very good experience. Customer service was awesome and delivery man also.“
“Paradise Pizza is the best! Most authentic Greek pizza in the area by far. Their bar pies are the things dreams are made of. Great salads, apps and entrees as well. Friendly staff, clean never disappoints. Check out the bar area for a sporting event and you will be pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere. A true Stratford gem/institution located right on Paradise Green. Check them out!“
“We've been to La Fortuna 2 or 3 times and have always enjoyed our experience. My husband decided that we should take Easter off and go out to dinner. He called to make a reservation for 1pm.When we arrived, the restaurant was bright and festive. We were created by smiling faces and Happy Easter's. As they brought us to our table, the bartender acknowledged us and said happy Easter with a bug smile. The manager was visible throughout the restaurant greeting and checking on patrons as well as providing backup as needed to the waitstaff.Our waiter was Marco. He created us and took our drink order to give us time to look at the menu. The bartender brought our drinks and chatted. I was happy that their regular menu was available and had planned on ordering something from there until we saw the specials. We started with tri color insalata...so fresh and the dressing was so good. We then ordered the stuffed salmon which was stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp and came with spinach and mashed potatoes. Absolutely out of this world. The salmon was cooked perfectly. There's was enough stuffing but not so much it took away from the dish. The sauce was tasty and added depth to the dish. The spinach was also cooked perfectly with some fresh garlic. We really enjoyed our meal. We finished with a piece of cheesecake and a tiramisu and some coffee.Absolutely fantastic meal.The staff works so well together. Everyone is always smiling. They make you feel welcome. “When I visit my family in Connecticut I love to have some good pizza! My sister brought me here and I loved it!! We ordered the pepperoni pie and a sausage and green pepper pie! The crust was light and had a nice crisp and the toppings were delicious and fresh! One of the best pizza’s I’ve had! ?“
“First time getting food from them tonight. I am blown away at how good the food is. I ordered the pineapple pork nachos which have an amazing kick to them and the harvest salad. Not only was the food delicious, and reasonably priced the portions are very big. I will definitely be ordering from them again and I will be recommending this place to others. The customer service was also very friendly. ?“
“We enjoyed eating outdoors on a nice summer night. There was a bit of road noise and no view of the water but the music was nice and there is a choice between high top, regular and stools all outside.The staff was nice and attentive to the table. There was a bit of a mishap with my meal but they did the best they could to make it right. I only with they told me before my meal came out.I loved the salmon meal! The salmon was tender and juicy and the cream sauce with the veggie combo was the perfect pairing. I only with I got the rice that was listed. I did get to try the onion rings in place of the rice and they were so thick and nicely breaded. They were the best and biggest onion rings I have ever had!The New England clam chowder was more of a Manhattan style with its red sauce base but it was unique with good flavor.The portions except for the cheese pizza were large. The fish sandwich and the fish plate both had about the same large quantity of fish.The menu was large and had lots of options. It was a bit different than what was posted online but it looked like there were some nightly specials. I did really want to try the tacos. All in all, I would go back again just for the onion rings and salmon.Kid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly menu but the brick oven pizza and onion rings made them very happy.“
“My son has a soy allergy so I called to ask if their pizza has soy. The man who answered the phone (sorry I don’t remember his name) went to check and read off the ingredients for me. I then placed an order online and the same man called me back to say he noticed I placed the order and upon looking into it further, he saw the vegetable oil they use has soy in it. I appreciate the attentiveness to customers. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure your customers are safe!!!“
“Since we arrived we had high expectations, the smells was very good. We ordered a large pizza Favorita to share, good size. Presentation was amazing, full of ingredients, crunchy and soft, but taste wise I am very disappointed, for the first time in my life I had to add salt to a pizza, both the dough and red marinara sauce were missing salt. Maybe it was a today problem? I’m not sure, they have good reviews and it seemed like a lot of pizza was picked up for takeout.“
“The food was amazing. First place that I truly enjoyed the Lobster Bisque! Thick, seasoned so good and big lumps of lobster meat! I had the lobster roll as my meal the husband had a pasta Dish with scallops and sausage. All very good and the wait time to be Served was excellent. We Highly recommend this place.“

“came in on a whim and asked for whatever they're most proud of. got me a "johnny a" that didn't disappoint! huge grinder I couldn't finish (and I didn't have breakfast!) moist chicken cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozz and a killer balsamic glaze. As Arnie would say..... I'll be back!“
