The most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Connecticut. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food selection will appeal to American palates with standard chicken, beef, and pork items, as well as more adventurous choices like tongue and tripe. The atmosphere is strip mall takeout, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth trying.
Wallingford is flavor deprived. Went to a tap house and ordered a brisket sandwich to get meat with the consistency of jello. Hotel continental breakfast served runny eggs and breakfast sausage without the sugar, black pepper, caraway and other spices that make it a welcome treat in the morning. We had Tacos. Reasonable price and nice behavior of the restaurant staffs. We however went to have soups in a rainy day and came to know they serve soups on weekends only. There’s meat shop beside this restaurant.
