“Love this place. Absolutely. The pizza is to die for with its baked buttery crust and delicious toppings. Every time we are in the area this is a definite. Only drawback is the place could use some updating. But that is minor. Come here!”
“Gorgeous, cozy restaurant with a delicious menu. The staff are excellent and very attentive when needed but don't rush you. The massive fireplace is everything!”
“So I just wanted to update a previous review. We had been to the Whitehorse approximately four years ago and had a negative experience. We have been back since and the quality of food is much more flavorful less salty less fatty. The staff was helpful kind. And the ambience was fantastic. They sat us right in front of the fireplace. It was for my birthday dinner and I really enjoyed the entire setting. We were comfortable the entire time and everyone was kind. We have also since been back at a larger family with my in-laws, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, etc. and had a brunch that was fantastic.”
“Highly recommend! So sticking cute! It is very clean inside. The chairs are exquisite in design. The wood work throughout the entire restaurant is charming. They serve a lot of baked goods. The million dollar shortbread cookie was very good. I also tried the fall harvest wrap which had chickpeas, cranberries and some other veggies. The dish is on the sweeter side even though it is a savory item. The Premium Blender Drinks seem to be something they are known for. They are well made, I tried the lemon and coconut flavor. They incorporate Greek yogurt which is awesome. That being said, they are on the sweeter side as well. If I am ever in the area, I'd come again as they elevate healthy and good ingredients.”
“My first visit was last February for my birthday. My friend had pre-arranged for the 5 course tasting menu/pairing. It was the perfect introduction to the restaurant and the culinary talents of Chef David. When a close friend had a milestone birthday I knew this would be the perfect locale given his Italian heritage. He’s picky on bread since he makes his own - he couldn’t get enough of it and was excited to find out it was made on site! Recently, when I saw the braised rabbit filled buttons I knew I had to return. Since it was just me and a last minute decision I was thrilled to get a spot at the bar. I can tell you the attention was exactly the same as if I were in the main dining room. First time visitors should splurge on the tasting menu! Grazie mille Chef David and the entire friendly team.”
“One of the better dining experiences that can be had in Connecticut. Michelin star quality without the price. The staff is extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the restaurant. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. The food is farm to table with fresh ingredients. The dining room is dimly lit and intimate. The experience has been consistent the 5 times that I have visited.”
“I received a gift certificate & I really can’t use it. When E59 first opened. I did go there, because I think they opened earlier. Now, their hours of operation don’t cater to early morning customers. When I say early. I mean, at least by 8:00AM. Their hours don’t make sense for the type of business! It’s a five star business, except for their hours of operation.”
“Took a chance on a Sunday drive by. My only suggestion is that the restaurant be renamed “Really, really good eats.” Great food, service, atmosphere, and nice live music. Perfect place to bring friends or celebrate a special occasion.”
“The food was really good. Great variety of Asian fusion dishes. I didn't really like my lychee-tini. Way too sweet but I would definitely go back again.Mojito was great. Fried rice, yaki ramen, dumplings all really good too!”
“Amazing!!! I stopped in Sat. 3/9/24. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with ham & cheese in Gluten Free bread. They toasted the bread and the egg was cooked to perfection! Such helpful staff and so grateful for the GF bread. I will be back.????”
“A number of months ago during a visit to New Milford, my wife and I had dinner at Vegas Mexican Kitchen. At that time, we were very much impressed with our entire meal. From the appetizer, to the entree and dessert, the food was excellent. It was a welcome experience.Flash forward to this past Wednesday. On a return trip to the area we decided Vegas Mexican Kitchen would be our choice for first night dinner. We were very pleased to find our dining experience was as exceptional as the first visit.Having traveled a bit we realize good authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find, especially in New England. We have to say this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time.Every item we had tasted fresh, was not overly spiced and the portions were plentiful. The sauces were thick and had the proper flavor from what we would consider central Mexico. From the kitchen staff to the servers, they made our meal a delightful experience. If you want good traditional Mexican, The Vegas Mexican Kitchen is the place to go.Sigan con el buen trabajo. Nos vemos en el viaje de regreso.”
“I just picked up our two Caesar Salads and brought back to our home as my wife was tired. Why would you buy them from some haute Cuisine place like the West Street Grill? Well, they are simply the best cuisine in Litchfield - even for a simple take out salad. Very nicely prepared with Parmesan in its own container and a rich Caesar dressing as well. While I was waiting I looked around at the people dining in a very relaxed atmosphere with nice Jazz music playing. I thought that we should have come here for dinner instead (as we have many times before) and had a treat dining out. You won't regret your visit here.”
“The fresh baked breads here are fantastic. I always walk out of there with more goods than i intended to get. Don’t forget a cookie or scone for the ride home!”
“Absolute best food within many hours radius. Best customer service. Best vibe. And great bar too! Tandoori flames is absolutely amazing all around. The food is out of this world good.”
“I've been here a few times to grab croissants but it was our first time dining it and it was delicious! Very cozy and you can tell they have a lot of regular customers. The eggs benedict was amazing and their homemade biscuit was great. My husband got the chicken and waffles special and he loved it. We will definitely be coming back!”
“Incredible food, great service, and did I mention absolutely incredible food? They have so many vegan and vegetarian options which I really appreciate. The vegetarian breakfast burrito is amazing. The soups are great and everything on the cold salad bar is fantastic as well. Great for to go or dine-in, I recommend eating outside there's so much more space and it's very nice they have plenty of chairs and tables.”
“Store is modern and clean. Food is crazy good. My favorites are Italian Veggie (pictured), Godfather and Cesar wrap. Whenever they have meatballs in the case I grab a box full and make a great dinner with them even the kiddos love.”
“Wild how the universe brings people together and where the days as well as moments go. T'was my birthday yesterday and I was just rolling with the day. Started off working out then went for a hike in Morris. After that bumped into a buddy and started to geek out on some home roasted and brewed java. Then trying to keep the cup filled we ventured to the Krafted Brew Lab and I was enriched with flavors conversations and beautiful people. I am somewhat of a recluse but am spreading my wings glad to have landed there yesterday. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get back up there. Much respect to y'all!!!”
“Great service! Excellent sushi! Good company at the sushi bar. Owner is personable and knowledgeable. We had a great time and enjoyed delicious food! Will be making a trip in the future!”
“In short, I had my daughter’s baptism lunch at Al Dente and here is what you need to know: exceptional, kind and hard working staff, delicious food with large proportions, great atmosphere and easy to work with. Whether you’re looking for a phenomenal dining experience or to host an event, look no further than Al Dente.”
“This is a very tiny shop, but they have seating outside for the warmer weather. Ovens Of France is the best bakery outside of those one might find in Greenwich, CT. I live in Guilford, and it's worth the trip to Woodbury to buy their products. Try the chocolate mousse cake. It's the absolute best. I buy one and freeze slices, it lasts for months. The eclaires don't have overly sweet pudding in the center but a rich cream. The croissants are like nothing you'll ever find elsewhere. They open early, like 6am, for early birds.Parking: They are in a shopping center. The parking is always plentiful and close.”
“So many flavors to choose from. I choose blueberry brie and goat cheese blackberry. Great choice! My hubby had caramel and peanut butter cookie dough. He loved it too. By far our favorite ice cream place, unfortunately we don’t live in the area but when visiting we definitely go back.”
“Quaint atmosphere, with amazing service and staff! They are so nice and are always friendly ? The food is always outstanding and fresh! An all-around wonderful eating experience... we love Momma's Tacos❤️?”
“This stamp of approval is long overdue for the new milli outpost of the acclaimed SP.Havin visited there other location consistently since it opened in 2005 I was excited for another location to pop up.This is an Armenian style pie which is kinda like a new york style slice but not at all like a nyc slice at the same timeboastin a thin crust and pretty even sauce to cheese ratio that leans on the skimpy side. They offer a ton of fresh toppings and have a unique cracker crisp crust to hold off the flop by using a hvy dose of cornmeal on the base. These guys have experience pumping out quality rounds that shows in their finished product and their grinders/calzones aren't too shabby either. Not a typical super slice but a standout one nonetheless.”
“Lovely, warm ambiance with down to earth food. Welcoming staff with great service including a "greeter" who made us feel welcome with no school that day.”
“Go eat here immediately. What a fabulous restaurant. With a cocktail and dining menu that is unique and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and gracious. And the atmosphere was inviting and allowed good conversation (not only with my table, but with other guests). A gem!”
“Beautiful outdoor place to spend a weekend. Next to vineyard, there’s an Hopkin’s Inn unaffiliated however. We loved that’s there’s a live music. Sampled a variety of spirits. Wonderful atmosphere!!!”
“Easy on easy off from the main road.Makes for a quick stop during my morning commute to grab lunch for later.Great tasty food.I only wish they had more specials once in a while”
“Everything really was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The cocktails were delicious and so were both meals. Highly recommend the Greca paella and if they have the skirt steak on the special list, get it!”
“We were blown away by the exceptional service. The level of professionalism was refreshing. The staff could have been trained at Downton Abby! We have found the gold standard to which all servers should be compared. The food was simply amazing. My Mole Pork Chop was tender and juicy with an unexpected, and greatly appreciated, subtle crisp on the outside. We will be back, w/ friends!!”
