“When Pigs Fly is a great breakfast location offering new breakfast specials every week and they have a Coffee Bar! Yup unlimited pour your own coffee buffet. Special pancakes and french toast are my go-to they bake the French toast breads in house and usually have seasonal flavors. Must try if you are in the area they also have a sister restaurant in Mystic, Connecticut named “Somewhere In Time cafe” if that's closer to your stay. Be prepared to wait in lines on the weekend. This place is very popular with the locals. But overall great breakfast”

“I've never written a review before but I felt compelled to leave one after my experience at Nana's. Yesterday was my first time there and it was awesome. Nana and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. My boyfriend and I ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it filled us both up which is surprising considering my boyfriend eats a lot, but anyways it was delicious, filling, and well priced. We also ordered the tiramisu and fried dough and both were extremely good. We were the only ones dining in there and Nana even threw in some extra fried dough for me. One of the best experiences I've had at restaurant, will definitely be going there again.”

“Been here a few times now. Raw bar is excellent. Tried lobster roll, and specials each time we’ve gone and the chef does a great job. The vibe and service are perfect for this area on the water in Waterford. Definitely worth a visit for date night or the kids since they are a family friend place now.”

“Went for breakfast. I had an egg white sandwich with ham and cheese on an english muffin and it was very good and very hot. The coffee was good. Service took a little long but the food IS worth it. Big portions.”

“Ate in on a rainy Saturday night, very much enjoyed the stuffed meat lovers pizza, which was huge and very filling; served with marinara on the side. Excellent value with plenty of leftovers. It was a busy night for takeout orders and the waitress was manning both the tables and cash register, so service was a bit slow, but we got a garlic knot (also excellent) some complimentary sample slices of pizza while waiting. Will certainly be returning.”

Can't say much about the ambiance or physical location since we always do delivery but the delivery folks have been kind and quick each time. Try the sesame chicken, the lo mein and the egg rolls are the best!”
