My husband is Argentine, so naturally we had to stop at Aby's Bakery! We got the beef empanada, chicken empanada, and two alfajores. Everything was freshly made and so authentic. I'd love to return to get their breads, sweets, and more empanadas, of course. Aby chatted with us for a bit and she is sweet and hard-working. Found this place while at lunch next door with a friend. We joked about having dessert afterwards. After trying some of the confections that day I now stop by any time I am in the area. Sometimes making a special trip into West Hartford for a treat.
