I absolutely love everything about this restaurant. I love the hibachi and the chefs energy and I love sitting back where it's quiet by the fireplace. They are so accommodating. I can request my sushi rolls be made the way I like them with no questions asked. The servers and the hostess are always super friendly. I would gladly bring my friends and family from out of state here to enjoy the sushi. The food is always fresh and the environment is always friendly and welcoming.
This is a popular hibachi place in Westport. Definitely call ahead for reservations on the weekends. The noodles are thinner than typical hibachi noodles which I enjoyed as it didn't feel as filling. The food was well cooked but overall lacked a bit of flavor. The side sauces they provide helped give the food more of a kick. The portion sizes were fair for the price and staff was attentive. Have been coming here for over 30yrs and food and service is great. Only issue is that I have recently become disabled and there is no accessible bathroom. I will now need to forgo one of my all time favorites because of this issue. :(
