Although we love Panera, the service is awful. We were running errands, and I thought it would be easy to order through the app for a drive thru pick up. The line was only 4 cars, but we ended up waiting for 20 minutes. The order 3 mac and cheeses (kids meals), one sandwich, and a coffee. I have not been to a Panera in a very long time. The last time was a weekend get away. I ordered the same thing that I got the last time which was the steak sandwich with the with the pickled onions and I believe Wisconsin cheddar cheese. When I bit into that sandwich it was like a wave of memories flooding back to that weekend because it tasted identically the same which was delicious. The restaurant was not that busy. There was no one at the register and it's not very nice to be on your cellphone when at work. The overall restaurant is dirty and the tables don't ever look clean.
