We did not plan to go for dinner to this restaurant so I did not book in advance. We were looking where to dine one evening and somehow we managed to get a table - very early slot but we decided to take it. Restaurant is in the old Post Office building, within Trump's hotel and looks very plush - crystal chandeliers, high ceilings etc. The bread they serve with gruyere cheese is definitely worth a mention - but be careful, we had so much that we struggled with the main course...read full review
Overall very good restaurant. Couple of issues though. When you make a reservation and they ask if it is a special occasion and you say it is but they stick you in the far corner table in the back...not cool. There were open tables near the balcony that's where we should have been seated. The popovers are just ok. I have had better at the Neiman Marcus restaurant. The good. we had a really nice experience at this restaurant. the lobster appetizer and gruyere popovers were delicious. we were underwhelmed with the tomahawk for two, which was extremely fatty. The sides for multiple people were unusually small as well. it was almost completely empty for it being a Thursday night at 8:30 pm. Would give it a shot again
