“Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch, recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“
“I love this location. Our waiter was too cute and even though we were a little close to our neighbors the vibe was fine. We came for happy hour and I felt good about my drinks... they probably would be stronger if we say at the bar but still good!“
“Very good and super knowledgeable about gluten. The tots are fried in their own frier and they knew the sauces I could get! Delicious and so so good! I got the loaded tots and while my husband loved his Mr Briggs he couldn’t stop eating mine too!“
“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“
“Stumbled upon this Gem on a cranky and bored night! I happen to have rolled into a rock a concert! I was with my girl and we just needed a spot to chill and hold a vibe. The concert was great!! The energy that circled the air was amplified and transcending! I downed 2 beer and out of no where a guy offer to get us some shots! We returned the favor. It turned out to be an epic night of music and great bar service along with some good craft beers. I'm dying to return so I can get a bite to eat since I've heard good things about their menu. Also wouldn't mind another rock concert to attend in the future..“
“The food tasted great, was made with whole, quality ingredients, and was priced reasonably enough for what you get.I ordered a box of tater tots and an “everyday I’m Brusselin,’” which is one of their healthier options, containing quinoa, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, arugula, and an egg topped with sunflower seeds, all for around $17.The staff were also helpful and friendly, the restaurant was clean and had a fun, chic interior, and the food was ready in a few minutes, despite there being 3-4 guests before meIf you’re in the area and want some quick, tasty food that won’t break the bank, this is a great option.“
“This place is awesome. Food is delicious and affordable. The staff here were also fantastic. The two I interacted with (Brandon and Fahrik) had great personalities. They were warm, friendly, and very funny. They kept us well stocked on drinks. Definitely will be returning here when I visit DC again.“
“I got their exactly 950pm and the bartender and waitress were very friendly and nice , the kitchen was just about or closing but rather than say sorry it’s too late they checked with the kitchen and they made us the 3 best burgers and fries , it was all delicious . We got double burgers and fries and honestly the price to me like any other good burgers but these were better was reasonable, the quality was good . We’ll be back for sure , compliments to the chef .“
“Vibe and customer service were great, though the burgers were just a bit "meh" overall. Not bad, just underwhelming. We enjoyed the fries though - crispy and well-seasoned. The veggie patty seemed homemade, which was great, but it overpowered the other flavors on the Charlie Burger.“
“Was in D.C. for a week and I am not exaggerating when I say I ate there every day. This food is some of the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s the main reason I know I’ll miss being in the area. The fact that it’s so good sensitivity-friendly meant options for foods I can never get otherwise, and I’m so bummed that the closest one is 10 hrs away.PLNT Burger, I’m begging of you to make a location in Atlanta. We have lots of Whole Foods here and I’m sure your restaurant would thrive in this area. You guys rock and MAN do y’all make the best food.Vegetarian options: It’s all veganDietary restrictions: Gluten free and soy free options“
“I wondered around the area for new spots I could try on my lunch break and yesterday on 3/12/2024 I stumbled across this gem .. the two guys who were working were extremely nice and the one guy who took my order was extremely knowledgeable , and he was patient with me . I was also able to grab a great cup of ice ... ! I ordered the burger with the candied jalepenos and by the time I got to my desk my food was still pipping hot and I didn't even get caught by supervisor while I was sneaking fries lol !!! All the sauces were great and the burger itself was a solid 10/10 !!! I'm so thankful for this place and can't wait until payday to come back lol !! Thank you so much !!Sincerely , the woman who smelled really good :)“
“My favorite place in the broader neighborhood! The staff are friendly and attentive! The food is consistently good - everything on the menu is good, my favorites are the ribs platter, Gouda burger, steak and cheese, wings, blackened seared tuna app, and great fries too. I, and other friends, go out of our way for the hand-dipped chicken fingers (a staple pickup for take out since I live nearby). In addition to great selection of beers, they always have NA beer selections too, which I get when coming with the kids. They love the nachos, wings and kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Seating indoors is all high-tops, so low-tops are on covered patio. Good kids menu w/crayons. Never a problem with tables during non-peak hours, but if a big game or something, do the best you can.“
“I always happy to eat out of this location the cashier, Lemlem is always pleasant and gives the utmost great customer service when I am waited on by her. She greets me with a smile every time and makes sure I have the best experience every time. I rate it and her a 10 out of 10 ?“
“My sister works at GWU, and I got to meet with her for dinner at Duke’s when I was in town this week. It was my first time to enjoy the great food and wine ?at Duke’s. Service was exceptional, and enabled us to really enjoy our reunion.“
“We went to the Mono (Georgetown) location and our burgers were excellent. The staff was friendly and the space was clean. There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“
“We just had the best pizza and experience. We were a large party and the service was fast and efficient. The food was delicious. We had a Detroit native in our group and it was approved! Debbie was a wonderful manager and so personable - she entertained our kids and was so sweet! We had the classic, big Ang and MVP and a yummy burger. We’ll definitely be back! Exceeded expectations!“

“Really wish I could give this place a better rating! The people running the place were so nice and friendly — and it’s a great local establishment. Our rockfish sandwich was fine — but we had two catfish sandwiches, and the breading on both was just too salty. Maybe we got a bad batch, so I’m willing to give the place a second try!“
“Been to bubbies many times and it’s always so worth the trip! Really appreciate how often they send coupons, gives us the push to order and enjoy their food. We’ve also ordered it for delivery and never had any issues, it’s obviously no longer hot because of the distance but our order has always been correct! Highly recommend.“
“So I stopped here because the other restaurant I was going to go to was closed for a private event.I can not tell you the last time I felt a cocktail was worth the cost. Especially at a restaurant or non specialty place. This spot is legit.I am ? happy with the quality and I can’t remember the last time I said that. EVERYTHING was great.Food, drinks, service. Truly a gem. And if you look, a lot of my reviews are mid. This place rocks.“
“Wife & kids came here for a concert & loved every bit of the experience! From the food to the bands & the bartenders . I had to work and could not attend ? so I guess I missed out on a great night.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved this venue. Can't wait to come back again. There are lots of artifacts to keep the eyes busy.“
“This burger hotspot with table service opens for lunch and then goes late, available for your late night out and about cravings. I went with the lucky burger - huge 2 patties covered in cheese and sauce. The ingredients - tomatoes, pickles, etc., were super fresh and so so good. We ordered some cajun fries for the table - it was huge, and awesome. The view here is great - wonderful to take in the wharf and do some people watching - really, who needs tv here!?!? Apparently, they also do drinks here as well, so big plus there. This was a great little adventure - highly recommend!“
“We always choose Johnny's All American to showcase a lively neighborhood bar to our clients. The decor, paying homage to the owner's grandfather's army service and community involvement, is truly impressive. Witnessing a person's legacy reflected in the intricate details on the walls and artwork adds a special touch to the overall experience. It's a unique and meaningful atmosphere that resonates with both history and community spirit.“
“With the Navy Yard HipCityVeg location closing, I was eager to find a replacement, which I (mostly) found with PLNT Burger.Located inside the Navy Yard Whole Foods, this little vegan burger/chicken shop is a must-try for vegan sandwich enthusiasts. The food tastes much better than it looks, I assure you.The vegan BBQ mushroom burger was delicious and was well-balanced between the sweet and savory BBQ sauce, umami grilled mushroom, faux meat layer and vegan cheese. The housemade strawberry lemonade was crisp and refreshing, and the home style fries were crunchy and well-seasoned.My only COMPLAINT was the utter lack of customer service. With no one else in line, the workers ignored my initial attempts to approach and order food. When someone finally decided to take my order, the woman behind the counter made no attempts to hide her annoyance, rushed my order, and had an attitude. Implementing friendlier customer service policies is the key to any future 5-star reviews.“
“We've been here quite a few times! It's definitely a great spot. Love the vibe, drinks and food. And kid-friendly which is always a plus. Good food menu with many options. My husband leans towards the IPAs and I always go their seltzers! In-laws were visiting so we wanted to take them to one of our favorite spots! The pretzel is by far my favorite pretzel and THE best I've had so far! And the we also love the fried chicken thighs! Pair it up with one of their small salads (still a HUGE portion!) and you have a great meal!“
“Joia Burger, the newest addition from the incredible Patrice Cleary of Purple Patch fame, is making waves in our nation's capital, one burger at a time. This cute little burger haven is a declaration of love to her family and the community. With an ambiance that's as inviting as a backyard BBQ, Joia Burger is setting a new standard for the classic American staple. The star of the show was the double patty Wagyu burger, an opus of American Wagyu beef so tender and flavorful, it almost melted on the tongue. This isn't just a burger; it's a masterpiece smashed into patty form, draped in American cheese like it's going to the burger prom, and adorned with chef's special sauce that's mixed with the crisp, fresh ensemble of diced lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle, all served on a cloud-like potato bun, it's a burger that could easily start a peace treaty. But the pièce de résistance? The Ube Soft Serve with Coconut Flakes. Imagine the creamy, dreamy essence of ube, that vibrant purple yam, transformed into a soft serve so smooth, it could smooth talk its way out of a traffic ticket. Topped with coconut flakes, it's like a tropical vacation in every spoonful, a sweet escape that pairs perfectly with the savory symphony of the Wagyu burger.Joia Burger isn't just serving food; Patrice and team are crafting experiences full of love. It's a place where every bite is a reminder that the simplest pleasures are often the best.Vegetarian options: Veggie Bean Burger“
“Enjoyed coming here with my family. The young woman at the counter was so friendly. I told her I was hard of hearing and she was so patient with me. The young woman's name is Unique. She really cares. The food was good but the customer service was excellent. This was our first time in the DC area. We will definitely come back here on out next trip here.“
“Every time I go here the food and service are great. Z Burger offers way more than just burgers, so I can switch up my meals depending on what I'm in the mood for. Also, they run promotions from time-to-time, which are great. Lastly, the portions are huge! So its good value for your hard-earned money.“
“I highly recommend Good Stuff Eatery, but realize that this is a higher end burger place. The prices are not low, but the food is great - similar to Five-Guys pricing. I would recommend "The Lunch Bag" (pictured) if you want burger, fries, and a drink. Its not a fancy burger, but the combo for the price is one of the best deals. One other very nice offering is the variety of sauces available for your burger and fries that go beyond the basic ketchup and mustard. They have mayo, sriracha, chipotle, horseradish, old bay, and mango. If you're in one of the areas that has a Good Stuff Eatery I'd definitely take a look.“
“*I was welcomed when I opened the door. The menu looks good. Eventhough the students are rude, service was smooth. There was a lunch special. The staff seems ro work well together. I did see a frequent buyer program. The root beer cant be bear. I will be back once a week at least.“
“Kid-friendliness: It still very much a beer garden, but there is outside seating and Sunday it wasn’t packed inside. The stairs make it difficult to bring down a stroller, so you will need help, but it can be done. I did it and we all had a nice time. They also offer 3 kiddie meals.“
“A small but very loud ? Sportsbar with poor but good local food and drinks. Burgers, Tacos, fries ? and everything you need to have while looking a game on TV with friends. The prices are mostly ok.Wheelchair accessibility: Not really accessible with wheelchairs ♿“
“Had great lunch at this place. First I saw the sign and wondered what "Chinese burger" was. But when I looked at photos on Yelp, I learned that this place has noodles and rice bowls and I decided to go. You can order at the counter or on the touch screen by yourself. I did the latter. Tbh the restaurant name is misleading, because they really don't have burgers. They only had a sandwich with pork. Majority of the items on the menu seemed to be noodle dishes. After scrolling menu pages many times, I ordered braised pork rice bowl and dumplings. Food took about 15 minutes. But then they gave me a sandwich although I ordered a rice bowl. So I had to wait a little more while eating dumplings. Dumplings were nice and juicy. Hot. The sauce that came with them was good. The rice bowl was Ah-mazing. I added free toppings: onion, green pepper and cilantro. The eggs were the best. I should have paid for extra eggs. The braised pork was so flavorful and juicy. A lot of rice. O recommended it for anyone who's very hungry. It's a smaller restaurant, and not suitable for groups of 5 and more, but it is perfect for solo diners and small groups. Will go back.“
“We got gluten free dough for two pizzas, the mushroom and margherita pizza. My god these were good. I personally do not go for gluten free items, but my friend with me could not handle gluten. We both agreed that this was the best gluten free dough on a pizza we'd ever had. Really did not expect it.“
“I got takeout from The Big Board this evening. I was only in there for a minute and a half, but the guy behind the bar—whose name I failed to get—was strikingly kind. And to top it all of these are hands down the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. No bad news.“
“Reliable takeout option in Dupont. They're running operations out of Kramers, allowing you to grab a meal while browsing for your next book. The standout item is the fried chicken sandwich--thick, juicy, and a real tasty treat. The Feddy cheesesteak is also noteworthy, not to mention enormous. Both sandwiches provided a satisfying fill. The concept is from the folks behind Federalist Pig, so you're in capable hands. Bonus points for the name--maybe it's just me, but I have a ton of fun saying Fedwich. Fedwich. Fedwich!“
“Might be the best business lunch for two or solo place I've ever been. I've had lunch here at the bar numerous times while on business in D.C. Service is prompt and excellent, food is great and comes out quickly, and it's well-located to the business district.“
“This is a really cool lowkey spot on the u street corridor. It's located downstairs which gives it a speakeasy kind of feel with brick walls, wooden decor, and a small bar surrounded by a few small tables and even a nice little fireplace towards the entrance. I came here for a friend's networking event but the staff was so friendly and accommodating to us, they helped with decorating, and even with such a large group they did a good job of handling the large volume of drink and food orders. They have a daily happy hour (even on weekends) from 4pm-8pm in which they feature $4 well drinks or shots, beers or margaritas for $6. In regards to food they provide $4 fries, wings and even some combo options like a classic burger or wings with a beer for $14. I decided on trying the burger combo (also comes with fries). The food came out fairly quick, the fries were solid and the burger exceeded my expectations given the price point but it was cooked well but not overdone and flavorful. All in all definitely recommend giving them a try whether it's for a small group meetup or a more intimate outing.“
“Pros: went here for a birthday dinner/drinks and had an absolute wonderful time. The service was wonderful and we found a table quickly on Friday evening, and the place was super moody with the lights dim, but high enough that you could have have great conversation. The food selection was almost overwhelming, and everything we got from the nachos to the beef burrito to the amazing noodles were delicious. The two different types of margaritas looked good and tasted good too.Cons: no formal parking structure so you have to go on a search and destroy mission for a parking spot, which took a little bit because the streets are narrow and of course, there were lots of Ubers and things like that dropping and picking people up and car is trying to get through. But after a short walk with a few blocks, we found a spot. The nonalcoholic drink menu from the bar is definitely lacking. It's basically seltzer waters and no mock tails, but when I went up to the bar, I had more success and getting a ginger beer and I'm guessing they probably would've made a Mocktail to you just can't order it off the QR code menu.I'll definitely be coming back, it's a great spot where no reservations are needed and lots of food options are available for a smaller large party.“
“Winnie, Bri, Simeon, & Juju were awesome handling our large student group visiting from Texas! Very professional, everything ran smoothly, and from the time we walked in the door to the time we finished eating, it took 1 hour. That’s incredible! Thank you so much for everything.“
“The truth is that it is a place with good food, soloq.deverian will improve customer service.Parking: The area is a little busy and the truth is that if you spend too much time in the restaurant you can get a surprise when you get to your vehicle, so if I maintain the food is very good so I'm not complaining.“
“Great little place found while heading through Georgetown. We ordered 3 of their combos, The Korean pork belly, the Korean fried chicken, and the plain burger. My only complaint is you can't mix and match sliders in their version of a combo. So my wife and I traded a slider. They we're delicous.Parking: Street parking in Georgetown. First visit there, was hard to find a spot nearby.“
“Wonderful experience at this establishment! The staff are professional, friendly and inviting. I’ve tried the entire menu at this point and everything is amazing. The crab cake is out of this world but the burgers are good too.Let’s support our black businesses.“
“The food is always superb. Turkey burgers and chicken for those not in love with the classics. Even better than the food is the service. We have had a few hiccups with deliveries and each time the good stuff eatery on capital hill has done everything to make it right. They were the hero's making sure the milkshakes were just right on my son's birthday. If you are in the mood for a great burger and want a great team to make sure it's just how you like it- go to Good Stuff.“
“It feels like a time capsule eating here. You definitely feel the history. Great place to try as a tourist! Highly recommend the experience!Food though is just 4 stars. You can definitely still improve the taste with a little more salt but it’s not bad by any standard.Go experience it even just once!“
“Stopped by the new New Jersey Avenue NW DC Z Burger. The chicken cheesesteak with "two" cheeses was excellent & generous. The onion rings were awesome there. Everything is fresh, and the staff is unusually friendly and helpful. I can also recommend their 75 flavors of milkshakes (I prefer strawberry). The store was spotless. Street parking was easy, but DC has parking meters not to be ignored.“
“Absolutely fabulous experience at Five Guys! Without a doubt, the best food I've ever had from a Five Guys. The staff was incredibly kind, and the burgers and fries were so amazing that I've decided this will be my go-to spot every time I'm in the area. No need to look for any other Five Guys – this place has won me over! The quality of both the food and service is simply unmatched. Can't wait for my next visit!“
“The hotel is in a desirable location with regards to nightlife. However when baseball is in season, commuting in and out of the area is nearly impossible. Police barricaded the street and made check-in a brutal process. Otherwise, the service was delightful.“
“Looking for an Asian restaurant close by our hotel (The Westin Washington DC) and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Filipino restaurant only 3 mins walking distance. We had shrimp palabok, lumpia Shanghai, and lechon kawali. Everything was delicious and at a good price! Mom says we don’t have to find Jollibee in the area, Pogiboy is so much better!“
“The genuine article. As seen on any travelogue to DC. Fantastic food and fantastic place.I’m so glad I came. Definitely will go again next time I’m in Washington. It was busy but they have it down to a science there so you will be in-and-out if that’s what you’re looking for. We just sat at the bar for it before the Caps game.“
