Was less than impressed with Founding Farmers in Georgetown. We had heard such rave reviews from people in our community, so planned our evening around dinner here. A portion of the restaurant was under construction and at first they tried to seat us in a full on construction area, dust everywhere a view of just unfinished construction, which was sort of insulting considering there were several other tables open in a nicer area. Very slow service and waited 20 mins despite having a reservation. Our waiter could only do one thing at a time he took our drink order came back 15 mins later and dropped our drinks off without taking our order. We ordered appetizers, they arrived and we finished it and our drinks before he came back to get our dinner order. We spent almost 2 hours there it was a lot for a family to sit and wait for things. Where to start... it was a chaotic Monday lunch! Seated right away outside as requested and we were early for lunch so plenty of open seating. Server took a while to show up and started over explaining how they don't have everything available on the menu. No problem. We ordered drinks and food right away.
