I will say I love that they have live jazz in the city. Jazz is honestly best experienced in person. The band was great and the bartender was super friendly.Now logistically the place is a bit confusing. There are no signs saying green island cafe outside so kind of have to just know it’s there. I love this place, it’s such a lovely, relaxed jazz club! It’s now been renamed to “Moonlight,” for the record.Thursday-Sunday, Peter Edelman hosts a jam session from 8PM, and it is such a nice atmosphere. It’s very “come and go,” with guests arriving throughout the evening. The Live Jazz music is really good, food was OK but long wait time because they're busy and customer in and out the whole time which is not bad. I really enjoy the music and you can support the band by tip in cash, Venmo and Paypal.
