I'm from Ohio but have always heard people rave about Philz Coffee--especially their mint mojito coffee! To my surprise as I was in DC for a concert, I stumbled upon Philz Coffee and knew I had to make a trip! I got their most popular drink, The Mint Mojito Coffee and i was blown away at how delicious this drink was! Four of us headed to Philz Coffee in Adams Morgan for a quick breakfast. We ordered four drinks and three pastries for $36. The service was fast and friendly. My chocolate croissant was fluffy and delicious - lots of chocolate between soft croissant layers. Philz is spacious and clean - a great place to meet friends, do some work on your laptop or just take a break. I tried Philz for the first time today and it was amazing! I had the Mocha Tesora, basically tastes like hot chocolate with a hint of coffee. Super yummy on a cold day. My friend had the iced mint mojito it was also beautiful and delicious! I wish I had a picture. Staff was very friendly. We wanted to stay and work, but tables were full when we arrived so we decided to leave, but I'll definitely be back!
