Rappahannock Oyster Bar (Union Market)

We were looking for a quick drink/snack and saw there was some open seats at the bar so just hopped in. Unfortunately, we came in on (I believe) the last day so they were missing a lot of things but we were still able to order a Summer Tea, Pretty in Pink, and half a dozen oysters. The oysters were nice and briny, some pretty huge. The Summer Tea was really refreshing, not too boozy. Didn't try the Pretty in Pink but my girlfriend really enjoyed it. I would give this place more stars if they had more oysters! For an oyster bar, to only have 3 types of oyster... that is too small...but the food is great and I would come back for the baked mussels

I was very excited to try the oysters at Rappahannock Oyster Bar because I have heard nothing but good things but I have to be honest and state that I don't like East Coast oysters. I'm a West Coast girl and just find the oysters coming out of the Pacific ocean to be superior over Atlantic Ocean ones. The only exception I've found were oysters from Normandy, France.
