My wife and I tried this place recently when we wanted some pizza but were looking to try a spot we haven't tried before. The pizza is a bit different than what you would typically expect, but it was absolutely delicious. One of my favorite places in Washington DC. Small, friendly, love the ambience, great food, great staff, I can't think of any place I like any better than this place which from the outside looks like a hole in the wall. But when you get on the inside it is so warm and friendly and welcoming and the food is awesome, genuine Italian food with great wine!

Came for brunch and stayed a few hours longer than anticipated! The food was fantastic, excellent quality. You must try the gelato, apparently the owner's son went to Italy to learn how to make it. And apparently he's a great student because it was delicious. Staff was polite and attentive. Worth the visit.
