“I am a big fan of Subway because I can customize my sandwich to my liking with their vast selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments. I make sure to ask for my sandwich to be toasted so that both the bread and cheese come out soft and warm. The employees at this location pack on a lot of toppings, so I'm never left hungry after finishing my meal. Overall, I would say that Subway is a highly reliable, accessible, and affordable sandwich chain.“

“Always great service here. I sit down to eat here frequently and have even brought friends along. I wish they refill the special lemonades on the side of the fountain, they're always gone by the time I arrive. Guess they're that good“

“When I first came, I was welcomed, but they look like agents and they carry guns, very unusual, but I like the food, Sandwiches and chicken are very good.The drinks provided are also quite complete, I like the orange juice they have, but I don't like the donuts (the donuts in the next place are better) Everything is pretty good, what needs to be improved is just the parking lot, food and drinks are good. I recommend coming to this place and trying their menu!Kid-friendliness: They should add a special menu for childrenParking: This parking lot is weird, next to it is a military jet, very unusual.“

“Best Subway I've been to! The vegetables, meat and cheese were all fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and quick. I admit I didn't expect anything more than a cheap sandwich but this Subway blew every other Subway out of the water. This location even puts Potbelly to shame with far superior customer service and freshness.“

“Extremely disappointed. I ordered online as I waited (2 footlong subs). The plan was that this was going to be dinner for me and my family. When I got in the car, I realized that I had been given 1 footlong and 1-6 inch sub. I called immediately. I was told to call back. I explained that I would just come back by the next day, being that I was on my way to get my kids from camp (and lived 1 hr away). We both were in agreeance. Whe I came back the next day, the guy acted brand new, like he didn't know what I was talking about. Accountability is BIG in my book. You can't do nothing for me if you can't take accountability. I have no Traub to lie about a sub especially. I was calm, approachable, and kind....... as I typed this, the guy Shaong came back and rectified things. I will be returning again. I have a lot of respect for this establishment. He fixed the issue. We r all human, and we forget things sometimes. It felt great to get the same grace that I am always giving.“

“I just had to write a note of thanks to the very kind, professional, and wonderful member of the Subway team that took my order yesterday; Akin. He prepared my order like he was preparing it for himself and it was the best order I have ever had. Also, when I was there a very confrontational and argumentative customer came in and was hostile, but Akin did not allow that customer's negativity affect his professionalism and was able to deescalate the situation by representing the pinnalcle of excellence. Great job Sir, great job!“

“I've been going to this location for more than 2 years now about, and one of the guy's who works there remembers my order by heart, it's amazing.The staff there are really kind and friendly. They've been times where I haven't gone in awhile, and they always ask, "Where you been? How are you?" I find that sh*t wholesome.Food is what you would expect from a Subway, double chocolate cookies 10/10. The bottled drinks aren't cold very, so you may need to chill them or add ice. I think it's just their mini fridge.I always tip them when I go too because the service is so stellar.“

I love the topping selection they have and it was the Safeway I grew up with in my old neighborhood, I will always order from this location.Vegetarian options: The veggie patty is a game changer for vegetarians such as myself. “Located in the quiet food court of the Ronald Reagan building is this Subway. This is a usual Subway that you'd find in a food court with Subway bread, meats and veggies. I went with the six inch Turkey sub topped off with mozzarella, tomato, green pepper, onion and parmesan vinaigrette. The sandwich was very tasty just like any usual Subway sandwich. I also picked up a chocolate chip cookie which was absolutely delicious. There is also an abundance of seating here as it is a food court. The staff is very friendly, too. Altogether, this is your usual, tasty Subway fare that you can't go wrong with.“

The Ciabatta collection is pretty tasty, when I want to spend more. I see a lot of the other reviewers complaining about the employees. In my experience, these employees endure a lot of rude behavior from customers who can't figure out what they want, aren't paying attention, or want to micro-manage the sandwich assembly. If you want to make your own sandwich, make it at home. Don't berate a Subway employee. And it wouldn't kill you to leave a tip every so often - people tip for beer or coffee, which is a lot less work than making a sandwich.“

“This is a very clean and pretty large (it's looks a lot smaller than it actually is from outside) location tucked away on 1st street, NE although the address is actually 90 K street, NE. I placed my order on the app and was lucky enough to find a park right in front of the entrance. There was only one person dining in when I walked in but it was empty other than that gentleman. Daisy immediately greeted me and quickly prepared my order and was very friendly! I was in and out in just a few minutes...just the way I like it!“

I literally witnessed one of the workers getting harassed and talked down by one of the guests yesterday and all I could think was “wow, thank you for showing up to work today”. “I'm a simple gal, it doesn't take much to impress me. It's a subway; you assemble your own food the way you like it, nuff said. That said, with it being one of the few choices open at 8:30 pm on Sunday, the staff was nice and friendly, and I was very satisfied with the salad I got. It was chopped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, red onion, green peppers, and some hot chili relish, all served under a bed of heated sweet onion teriyaki chicken. The food was good and filling, so overall a successful purchase for me.“

“Great made to order sandwich shop that has been around for a while. The selection is great and they now slice the deli meats rather than prepackaged portions. The meats are very good- I especially like their tuna salad , it is the best. The toppings - lettuce ,cheese, tomatoes onions peppers and more all help your custom creation come to life and meet your tastes ! They cook the bread on site - it's pretty good , you can get wraps or flatbreads if you like or even make your sandwich a salad. I still think they could upgrade their Italian bread to the more crunchy on the outside kind but overall it's a great place for a sandwich when you are hungry. The foot long subs are ginormious (is that a word?). Italian and Tuna are my favorites - but I see lots of others that look great so I am sure they have something that works for you !!“

“I am personally not from a big city, so it is rare I am using a subway for transportation, but I had a good experience yesterday using it to get around the city. The machine I used to buy my metrocard looked extremely complicated and intimidating, but we figured it out. It was about 2 dollars per ride, which I suppose if you compare that to the price of a car or gasoline, it is a relatively okay deal. It was certainly less dirty than the NYC subways, although it did have a bit of a smell. There was plenty of spots to sit, however lets be real, it is sometimes more fun to stand and hold onto the ceiling railings or poles. Overall, good experience though.“

“Yes there is bulletproof glass, BUT it's a 24-hour Subway! The other 24-hour subways are usually built the same way! The staff is always friendly and it's saved me a few times when I didn't have food to pack a lunch for work by letting me get a healthy sub at 6am. You might have to deal with people outside it asking for change, but it's Benning road, what do you really expect? Overall, great hours, I've always had pretty friendly workers, even was open Christmas eve! It's a solid run of the mill Subway.“
