Thanks to Yelp found this delightful restaurant in Dover, DE. Lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the Cobb Salad with the house balsamic vinaigrette dressing and my husband had the Turkey Club sandwich. Wow! Both were so good. Trust me we will be back.
Governors Cafe was very nice and had a B&B feel to it. Grounds were very nice and well kept garden area. Initially it seemed to lack diversity and did not seem welcoming but the staff erased that feeling immediately. I was with my husband on vacation and we enjoyed the food and our waitress was awesome! The atmosphere was comfortable but the group eating inside the same room were hitting the wine a little hard and being loud. Otherwise would have been a very pleasant brunch date.

Beautiful restaurant located in a historic dover home. Had the ricotta pancakes and mimosa. Loved sitting outside on the porch and taking in the old architecture. Great service and great food!
