Spent $20 for a nothing special burger. Nothing to write home about. Service was so-so.I knew going in that the word “gourmet“ probably just meant spending too much for a cheeseburger. But figured I’d give it a try.I was right.
It's been a long time since I have been to a Red Robin and it's been too long since I've enjoyed a Banzai burger. The menu still has it listed and it says it's been improved EXCELLENT! Alas readers it was not to be maybe it's been too long for it to live up to the memory or maybe my tastes have changed but the beef was perfectly cooked and totally flavorless the pineapple ring was tough and fibrous and the teriyaki glaze was watery and bland. Great experience! Went around 11:30 a.m., had a really nice waitress who checked on us multiple times, ordered an appetizer because I wasn't that hungry, and the appetizer looked like a entrée it came with so much! It was all delicious!
