“The food from this location was delicious. Piled high with goodness the way Arby’s does. The service at the drive through was awful. We waited over 10 min for our food, there were cars honking their horns behind us not getting that no one was going anywhere cause we didn’t have our food. The staff were very pleasant, but there wasn’t even a courtesy explanation for the holdup, just the assumption people would be okay waiting. Sort of the anthesis of “fast” food.”
“Not bad just need little more Professional service and cleaning ???Dietary restrictions: I love the fact they got mill and fruit 4 the kids on the kids menu thanks McDonald's ? ?”
“Had a great date night here after not visiting a Bertuccis in ages after they left NY. Fabi was an excellent server and made sure we were taken care of! We’ll be back!”
“Went in to eat for the time after reviewing new Japanese options online. It was a great environment. I ordered a monster roll, a sweet pork skewer and a taro bubble tea. All were delicious. We'll definitely go back.”
“My favorite local deli! Kudos to kind gentleman that made my kids smile ear to ear! God bless that angel ?Pay it forward- $55 dollars ? God I'd good! Cash/Debit only under new contract.”
“Today I ordered the smoke chicken with the cornbread and fries. I did the collard greens last time. Couldn't pass up the cornbread. The order was ready when I arrived. The staff was very pleasant and I will return the next time I'm in the area.”
“The wife and I were on our way to the Silver Springs, MD, from dirty Jerz to visit the outlaws???lol. When we decided to make a stop for breakfast. A quick Google search turned up the metro diner. So off we went. It's a cute place that seems to get pretty busy. The wife ordered the veggies omelet, I ordered the chicken and grits, and two pieces of fried chicken, which I totally enjoyed. My wife also enjoyed what I ordered. This was obvious by the way she pinched off my plate. Also, Joe, the owner, stopped by every table to introduce himself and to see how things were going with the food and service. I felt this was a very nice touch.”
“What a great experience! Stopped by for take out and was immediately greeted & offered suggestions from the menu. I decided to try Tonkotsu & Karaage chicken. When I got back to the office I was impressed with the packaging. Secure (broth you know!) and my ramen items were packed separately from the broth. Very nice - nothing was "water logged" from swimming in the broth on the drive back.Ramen was very tasty & I enjoyed the large portion and crunch of the Karaage chicken. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to try more!”
“Spoke with Romeo last week after trying his food for the first time about doing wings and Mac for my daughter's 5th birthday. Was an absolute hit. The Jalapeño Lime wings are a must. He takes pride in what he serves and it shows in the quality of food.”
“I’m an expat from England who grew up with an Indian takeaway within walking distance wherever I lived. This does not make me an expert but I’m so delighted that Kabab & Curry are pretty much on my doorstep. This food is amazing. I literally took a break from mouthfuls of chicken kadai and samosas to write this review. Spot on. Fantastic grub.”
“Celebrated my son’s 14th birthday with 6 of his friends- Maria and Sandy were wonderful servers!! Pizza was delicious and environment lovely! Thank you!Parking: A lotKid-friendliness: Great”
“Great customer service. I was greeted with a warm welcome an hour before close, food was great, relaxing atmosphere. My server was an absolute sweetheart and helpful with the menu (I’m new to the cuisine). I even grabbed an entree to go for tomorrow’s meal. I shall return!”
“The chicken is delicious. Like really good. I also had the corn and that was excellent. The basmati rice was cooked perfectly. The tractor soda isn't bad at all either. I'll definitely be back!”
“This was my first time, and it was a great experience. My steak was cooked to perfection! We definitely picked the right time to show up. It was fairly quiet, and the server was great!!”
“Honestly, completely blown away by our experience today. Atmosphere was great, service was great, drinks were great. As a bar manager and a veteran of the service industry for 15+ years, this was the best Paloma I've ever had. Hands down. The food is authentic, simple, but with flavor. You can tell the managers put a lot of love and effort into the decor and presentation. As a tequila enthusiast, if you're looking for great tequila cocktails and authentic Mexican fare, this is the place to go.”
“Been driving by this place for awhile. Decided one day to stop. Now my husband and I have been going there from now on. They make sure your very full. And the prices are amazing. We found a bed hang ”

“Delicious food for a great price. Everything made with care and are some of the most delicious bagels I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and the service is fairly quick. I haven't had a bad meal there. Definitely take some bagels home with you if you go. My favorites are the asiago onion and the French toast. Highly recommend if your looking for lox and bagels as well.Vegetarian options: Good variety of vegetarian friendly optionsDietary restrictions: Good selection of dietary friendly optionsParking: Plenty of parking in People's Plaza area”
“A solid ramen spot has been one of the most surprising finds in Newark. Ramen Kumamoto offers a slurp-tastic oasis for noodle enthusiasts and broth aficionados alike. With its good service and cozy dining space, this ramen shop proves that great things sometimes appear in the most unlikely of places.Kicking off our culinary escapade, the Charshu Onigiri and Pork Bun set the stage. The onigiri, a triangle of joy stuffed with charshu, was a hands-on delight, while the pork bun was a pillowy cloud of happiness, complemented by a kick of spicy mayo that whispered sweet nothings to our taste buds.Diving into the heart of the menu, the Miso Ramen was a bowl of soul-warming comfort. The broth, a harmonious marriage of pork and chicken, embraced the miso paste like long-lost lovers reunited. Swimming within this savory sea were wavy egg noodles, well-cooked charshu, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, and a seasoned egg that was like the sun on a cloudy day. Each spoonful was a testament to the art of ramen-making, proving that when it comes to broth, Ramen Kumamoto doesn't just play in the kiddie pool--they're diving deep. Then there was the Mayu Ramen, a darker, moodier cousin with its natural heritage Berkshire pork bone broth, seductively swirled with mayu--a dark roasted leek with garlic oil and a depth of flavor that added a mysterious allure to each bite. The thin straight noodles were the perfect vessel for this rich, complex broth accompanied by charshu, red ginger, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, and a seasoned egg that completed the ensemble. It was a bowl that not only satisfied hunger but sparked curiosity, each ingredient whispering secrets of flavor waiting to be discovered. While the compact dining room of Ramen Kumamoto might suggest a limited experience, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. This ramen shop serves up bowls brimming with soul, flavor, and a touch of whimsy, making it a must-visit for anyone that finds themselves in the area for any reason at all.In the culinary narrative of Delaware, Ramen Kumamoto stands as a chapter not to be missed. It's a place where the broth flows rich and deep, and every noodle tells a story. So, if your journey finds you craving warmth, comfort, and a little noodle nirvana, make your way to Ramen Kumamoto. It's a slurp-worthy saga you'll want to experience over and over again.”
“The food was excellent and the staff was so welcoming! Their food reminded me of many of the dishes I would eat growing up; the ingredients were fresh and everything was so delicious. If you love good quality and authentic middle eastern cuisine, this place is absolutely worth it!”
“The best pizza in Delaware! Period!Pizza is so good and the staff are amazing and the price is right! Come eat here, you have to get a slice of cake too, they have the best cake selection I’ve ever seen at a pizza place! Everything is delicious ? ❤️?”
“Our food was so good we had to come back again and make sure. We talked with owner who was friendly and helpful. We love to support a local business and would highly recommend this to everyone.”
“This is hands down the best take out spot in Newark. This place checks every box. Excellent food across the entire menu, reasonable prices, great portion sizes, and very friendly staff. The NY Style Lamb Gyro is my go to comfort food, and I am always greeted with a welcoming smile from the guys in the kitchen when I come in. Highly recommend!”
“First time here. The gentleman who waited on me was friendly, respectful and courteous. I got the flank steak taco and it was delicious ?. Can't wait to treat my grandson. Maybe I'll go back TODAY.”
“If you haven't been...go. The students in this program work hard and are so attentive. This is a full dining experience. You get all the forks all the knives, all the glasses and palette For fun, if listed on menu, get the table side nitrogen ice cream added...it was worth it for the fun of it.”
“Typical of many authentic Asian restaurants, the atmosphere at the Asian Noodle House is somewhat pedestrian; this is absolutely fine - MORE than fine; it tells me that 1) it is the real deal, and 2) the staff are paying more attention to the food than the ambiance. This is clearly a family-run restaurant, and the service is excellent. Prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and after the closing of my favorite Asian restaurant, Asian Noodle House has become my new favorite.Wheelchair accessibility: Built in a strip mall, Asian Noodle House meets standard Delaware code for accessibility.”
“I grew up in NY. I don't know if this is as good, but it's still a solid slice. I didn't try it but there was a chicken sandwich that looked amazing I intend to go back ”
“Some of the best barbecue I've ever had in cecil County. It is truly one of the only authentic soul food experiences around. Not only is their BBQ delicious, their sides are just as amazing! You can tell how much passion goes into what they do. Even down to picking the order up, you feel welcomed with the beautiful R&B music playing while you wait. It's definitely a favorite of mine, and definitely somewhere I will be returning.”
“We go here approximately every 4-6 weeks and love the place. Tonight an issue arose and management stepped up and did the right thing to make sure we remain loyal customers.”
