Sad to have to write this. Been coming here for years.I lost count how many times I have had to eat cold stale falafel and stale bread.It had gotten to the point that I requested the falafel to be hot and the bread to get toasted.I was recommended to get my falafel toasted by the Father of the restaurant even.I lost count how many times I have placed the same order and they have always messed up. I was eating 2-4 falafel wraps a week.I never once complained until after the daughter of the restaurant told me that they will not make the falafel hot or toast the wrap any longer for reason.I will not be coming back to eat stale falafel and stale bread. No thank you.No Turkish Coffee, No Hot Falafel, and No Toasted wraps.The place next door will toast all your wraps and the food is hot and served properly without having to ask.For fresh and made right for serving, Falafels are always served hot.

We got the gyro which was pretty good but not as full with meat etc as other places. We got a large "Greek " salad, although they call it something else and what a disappointment. For the price I expected a bigger salad. It wasn't enough to share and mostly greens with little else. There are much better places around for gyros and Greek salad than here. People in the restaurant are very pleasant however I don't understand the raving reviews.

We were disappointed to find that this really isn't a dine in establishment. There are two tables inside and two outside (but it was hot and loud) but really no place to enjoy a meal. We drove quite a way to enjoy Mediterranean so this was big. The food was good and fresh. I had falafel platter, the husband had chicken shawarma salad. The tebulah was so fresh and great The portions were generous. Unfortunately, the tahini dressing had dairy in it ? Again, instead of relaxing and enjoying several menu items, we're disappointed that we ended up eating in our car. If I lived locally I would order take out from here a lot but we won't drive down here again.

The food was sooo good. My only complaint is the white sauce. Usually it's made with yogurt but this tasted like straight mayo. The white sauce is not good and I'd recommend getting your dish without it unless they change their recipe cuz it is literally just mayo and it's greasy and not good. That being said, their food is really good... not the best around but definitely really good!

Marlena's quite frankly rocks. I have never had anything here that wasnt top shelf to me. Personally I would reccomend the Sujuk wrap or the shwarma if you are new to any of this kind of food, but really you cannot go wrong.

Went to Malena’s for the first time this evening. Our first time having Mediterranean food and definitely not our last. We had the falafel wrap platter and enjoyed every bite! So much food! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Staff was so friendly and welcoming, felt like we had been there many times before.

This place is so heartwarming. It feels like your in a family restaurant in the Mediterranean. The customer service is friendly, welcoming , professional and patient with my questions as (I’m not experienced with this food.) The food is delicious,not over priced fresh and you can tell they service the neighborhood with passion.

the restaurant was very welcoming as soon as i walked in, it smelled amazing in there and the staff were incredibly kind. the food was just amazing. i could tell it was fresh and the portions were quite big. the service was fast and once again the food was so good. the prices were nice as well. i will definitely be back

this is my third (3rd) order from this eatery. The food is very consistent. the portions are very generous and I have never felt that it was short on meat or veggies. my order was lamb gyro,, chick. swarm.. and stuffed grape leaf.. I was hungry but very satisfied after eating.. So delicious and filling, the staff are friendly and the small shop has atmosphere a few tables for eat in.highly recommend this establishment for Mediterranean style food. my first for this style food.

By far my favorite place to eat in Middletown. I have tried almost the whole menu and have not been disappointed yet. From wraps to soups to salads to desserts. I love trying new food and am so happy I found this place. It is my go to. Not only is the food great, but it is family owned and their service is so incredibly friendly. I always recommend this place to my family and friends and any of them who were concerned about trying new food, were soon after pleased. Definitely try this place out you won’t regret.

I posted a picture, what a nice surprise when I opened the box. Great presentation and the food is delicious. Very well done and the guys in there working are super friendly. This is the best baklava I’ve ever had. Seriously the best meal I’ve had all week.
