I was given a confirmation number for a reservation on Friday, July 1 at 6:45 for 4 people. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a sign on the door stating it was closed and would reopen on July 1. The restaurant was dark and no one was in the restaurant. I think Open Table should check there facts before they give a reservation confirmation .thank you

We have been coming here for years, nearly every Saturday for lunch before we run our errands and whatever has happened to this place in the past couple of months has completely ruined everything. Today, I ordered their fish and chips, which was priced over $20.00. First of all, it took over 30 minutes to get my order (and there were only 3 other tables besides us, so it was not busy). When a small town pub charges over $20 and classifies certain meals on their menu in a section called "big plates", you expect a nice hefty portion. This plate had overcooked fries and two very tiny pieces of fish (covered in grease)... a complete ripoff. Then I noticed the coleslaw was literally swimming in water. I took a few pictures for people to see. We will not be coming back after being regular customers for years. You're overpriced, understaffed, and your quality has gone to hell. Just a quick update, I just looked at this place's actual website and the picture they have of the fish and chips literally has double that portion of fish... 4 pieces. Now I'm taking this to the Better Business Bureau as well. I don't appreciate getting ripped off.

New management could not be bothered with complaints of waiting 2 hours for food. The poor server had to bare the brunt of complaints even though the kitchen messed up every persons order at the table. One came out 50 minutes after seating, 45 minutes after that, she tells us they are out of another dish. The entire order was greatly discounted, but the manager should have at least come over to apologize. Server said she was in a room where she “wasn't allowed”. The whole night was a fiasco and manager could not care less.

We love Metro Pub. Food is always delicious and they always have an interesting special or two to try. Drinks are great. Love the atmosphere. Usually the service there is wonderful but the waiter we had was not very friendly thus the 4 instead of 5 stars.

This was our first "family" dinner since the beginning of COVID. We've dined at Metro before and you just never knew how it was going to go. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food - huge improvement from previous experiences. While the service was a bit slow, we had a great time and will definitely consider going back again - soon.

Drinks/cocktails and food was delicious. My husband and I went for a date night on a Friday night. They were very busy but we still got everything in a timely manner. Would definitely eat here again.

Unfortunately this restaurant is consistently inconsistent with their dishes. These are never cooked or served the same. So if you go once an fall In Love with a plate; savor it because next time you will fall out of love.

Had an excellent lunch there today. Waitress was super. We had the Autumn Chicken Sandwich. Had fig jam and arugula on it. Delicious.

Nice place for brunch. We were going to the show at the little theater in Middletown and decided to stop in beforehand. We both enjoyed our omelets and they were very accommodating about substitutions for the carbs that come with them. We would definitely be back

Food was good, live music was great! Big beer selection, but wasn't impressed by the IPA choices. They were kind of bland. We will return.

I was looking forward to dinner here Saturday night but didn't have reservations. Was told at front desk would have to wait until she called the people on the waitlist before she could take my name. Ok I understood that no problem! What the problem was is other people came in after me and their name was taken. I tried to get her attention to remind her that our name was not taken but we were dismissed and were reminded we had to wait. We left after another group came in and they gave their name and number too, again not us. We left. Anyway thanks for listening.
Food was pretty good. Chicken quesadilla was tasty and sweet potato fries good with maple glaze. The poor server was over worked. She couldn't keep up. Twice my husband's beer was served to other guests. We ended not getting it at all. The beer was taken off the bill; but there was no comp for the mistakes. Good customer service would have offered a complimentary drink or dessert. Nothing was offered.

This was our first time at Metro. Our waiter was great. He gave us amazing service! The food was okay. The best thing was the fries and the deviled eggs. The price of the food is too high for the quantity and the quality.
