“Scalessa’s is exactly as it sounds. Old school Italian Sunday dinner style meals & sandwiches. The Chicken Marsala is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Try it with a side of gnocchi (delicious) or even their spaghetti. The chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe sandwich is delicious. The staff is always friendly. The chefs are beyond skilled. Don’t forget to grab a butter cake before you leave.“
“Appetizers were good! Drinks were good, but their meat was okay. It was very chewy and I wouldn’t recommend it. It was very dry and overcooked. The rest of the food good. Only main course disappointed a lot. I expect their steak would be tender.“
“The restaurant is near a corporate center and has a large parking lot. The main room where we sat was very noisy. The server was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and I had the acorn agnolotti. Amazing Italian bread too. And they have a little market onsite filled with items to purchase. I would definitely recommend and return.“
