The grandma pizza, bbq chicken pizza, chicken Alfredo pizza and the garlic knots all super highly recommended, none better in Delaware! Mario is the actual owner, you'll find him working there during the days only, he's old school Italian from Italy, was in NY but moved to Delaware so he could close on Sundays. Best Pizza spot in Newark D.E! Mario's is 2 blocks away from most U of D sporting events so if your crew is feelin Pizza I recommend the Buffalo chx & the grandma's both pies are killer.

I have been going to Mario’s since 2012 and I actually love their pizza and never had a problem until today when this short rude old man had a problem with me ordering one slice of pizza. Well I work over night and I stop on my way to work so I’m going to continue to order my one slice of pizza so all I have to do is walk in pay and leave.
