Wife had sick stomach from her beef bowl and after opening the take home container was opened, there was indeed something not right about it. Rice smelled funny too. Maybe the egg that was placed on the dish was bad? The good folks at Chiwa suggested Kakure and we accepted the challenge. Since we had some business in Newark, we checked them up last night.Now, usually we get the same things as a bassline that compares one meal to one from another place. That would be me. The wife just enjoys the food. Once again the decorations were fantastic, with all of the Demon Slayer figures to the random TVs with random anime on. Bathroom is gender neutral but contains wanted posters if you're hunting down the Straw Hats.Its can be a bit claustrophobic and when we walked in the place was packed. We got the last table in the place. As far as the help went there was this lone server covering the whole restaurant. We did get our dinner in a timely manner and still warm. I got the teriyaki and the wife got the seared pork butt bowl. We did try to order a few things too but those were items that run out? Run out of tea?All in all, the meal was pretty good. Not perfect but this might be a good place to go to find out if a new romantic interest is as into anime as well. Might even want to share the larger bento box since it's meant for sharing. Definitely want to share a bite or two of the Mont Blanc, which I've never had. They're charging the same prices that their sister restaurant charges, and it's a pick your poison as to whether you want to deal with Newark or the mall, but you're choice. They both serve food that the other doesn't have on the menu.“
“Tonight my family and I came in. Our server was a warm, friendly beautiful lady named Ryleigh. She was amazing. Great service, she was attentive and helpful. The food was great. Fresh. Nice flavors. Good portions. Well worth the money spent. The crab potatoe skins was good. Cesar salad was good. Entrees we got the surf and Turf. Amazing. And the short rib. Also amazing.“
“One of our new favorite spots.They have a variety of things for everyone, pork, chicken, beef, seafood veggies etc so everyone has something they'll like.Cons- they are slightly expensive so it's a treat- they don't have a lot of staff, so wait times are a big long when it's busy. 10 mins for a server to come by and about 40 mins to get our food on a friday“
“Food , cocktail and service was good. It was our first time there. My husband and I have date nights once a week and we try to go to different restaurants to see which is the best. The Chilean sea bass was really good. We also liked their fried calamari but the only thing is they put the sauce under the calamari so it was a little soggy . Next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. ?“
“We love this place! We’ve had Ty the past two visits and he is THE BEST! He even remembered us and our order. He is so kind and attentive. The food runner was great as well and so friendly (didn’t catch his name) We have loved the food both times we were here. Some of our favorites are the Taquitos, The shrimp Cobb, the sushi and the Mahi Sandwich. A fun, laid back atmosphere and top notch service. Thank you!!“
“It was so awesome I had a video chat date with my husband while I was there their pineapple drink is amazing it is inside of a pineapple and it looks like something out of an island in the Bahamas which I've never been but still an awesome place I would recommend 10 out of 10. And if ever I come back to Delaware I will come and try more things on the menu I had the crab dip it was amazing“

My husband did like his pork gyoza, though. The biggest downside of this place is its lack of liquor license. It's very odd to have sushi without any saki or plum wine. The atmosphere was casual, and our easier was friendly and had a good sense of humor.“

“Lets start with the Lamb Cheese steak It taste amazing so flavorful juicy will always be a go to pick for me the fries are just fries nothing special the fish was fried to perfection excellent amount of season the rice was a no for me the mac and cheese had no flavor no season and not enough cheese or just couldn't taste it the wings were fried in dirty grease I guess they tasted burnt and overcooked or refried im not sure the thai wings were a hit sauce tasted amazing wings were cooked perfectly nice juicy The loaded shrimp fries needed a lot of help ot was dry and no flavor it was definitely missing something the cornbread was beyond gritty and grainy the banana pudding was just pudding and two cookies nothing else really basic for the price the cakes were ok very moist I would definitely recommend this place wonderful customer service its always busy nice vibes and atmosphere“
“Got email stating $19.99 steak and shrimp special. Wife and I said let's give it a try. Had a Cesar salad to start, followed by a great steak and shrimp plate. The steak was done to a perfect medium rare and very tender. My drink was a Manhattan up, which was also perfect. The service was excellent, fast and non intrusive. I am looking forward to the next email special at Firebirds. I will be there. I almost forgot my spouse mentioned her birthday was in a few days, when we finished dinner a decorated piece of cheese cake appeared on the house.“

“Came here 9:15pm on a monday after leaving 202 location because we stood at the hostess stand for about 5 to 10 mins and no one acknowledged us at all and many workers passed by. But we were greeted immediately here with a smile sat and ate. Our server Tahirah was super sweet attentive had a great attitude and just over all made us feel welcome. “Awesome food. One of the only spots near by with beef bacon and beef scrapple. And sells breakfast all day. Great sandwich, bacon spread across the whole sandwich so every bite has bacon. Everything else I have ordered was made perfect. Owner is always working. Every time I go in there he is cooking. Great customer service. Definitely a spot I recommend to family and friends when they are in the area.Parking: Difficult to park right out front, tight space and limited . But there is a huge parking alot on the side of the building.“
