Not sure why this place got a 4.1. It’s no Michelin star restaurant but we had a fantastic lunch there. Everything we got was very good and the atmosphere was great. If only in town for a weekend this place is a fantastic option for seafood.
Amazing experience! I'm from Maryland and we had crabs at hoopers a few nights ago. I love how claws brings out the sides first family style and then hot crabs. And they were nice, lump and not watery. Hush puppies and shrimp were devine and cooked perfect. Our server was on point with everything and super nice. Next time I'm in Ocean city, I would definitely make the drive back!

Always great food and good service! We’ve never had to wait super long and we have yet to try something on the menu that we haven’t liked! Our only complaint is the number of flies, but we do get that we’re eating a place with somewhat open air that’s right by the ocean, so it can come with the territory.
