“We came with my family and parents on a Friday night in off season. The restaurant had plenty of seating. We sat in a large bench style booth which was nicely set up with pillows and even a blanket. I ordered the tuna poke which was pretty spicy. It had pineapple and red pepper flakes, with tortilla chips. The ribs were delicious. I tried the cheddar grits which were so yummy and cheesy. My husband got the blackened tuna which he said was delicious also. I tried it and thought it was amazing with flavor and melt in your mouth fish. The kids got fried shrimp with lots of fries and apples and also the noodles with Parmesan cheese. My daughter was quiet for about 10 min straight eating so safe to say the shrimp was a hit! My Mom got the fried oysters. She said they were flavorful and very good. The drinks were great too. I got the Pom Tini which was great! Tasted like a jolly rancher or fruity drink. Our waitress was great and understanding with two little kiddos. She even remembers us from last year. The ambience is chill, sophisticated and coastal. High ceilings and fun beach themed classy decor. We will definitely be back!“
“Lovely Craftsman house for dining and a modern bar that features live entertainment and events. The staff is attentive, unobtrusive and makes excellent suggestions every time we go. Kudos. Both the seafood and the steaks are delicious. I spoke with a customer who raved about the lamb chops and duck, and gladly drives a half an hour for it. There is a satisfying wine and cocktail list. Love the GG vodka pear martini. Give yourself extra time for parking, which is always a challenge when you are this close to the beach.“
“It's extremely rare that I eat at the same restaurant twice while traveling, but on a recent trip to Rehobeth Beach, just couldn't stop myself from lunching here twice. A few blocks from the beach, Henlopen City Oyster House seems to avoid the crowd and tourist trap of some of the other eateries in the area and provide elevated seafood and incredible service in an upscale dining room. Focusing on really fresh ingredients and homemade almost everything, I needed the bartender to help guide me in what to pick my first visit: there were just too many incredible options to choose from. Crowd favorites seem to be the salads (particularly the Caesar which comes with a whole anchovy on top!), the clam chowder, the old bay shrimp, and the lobster roll. I was in town for a wedding where I knew we would be having clams, raw oysters, and lobster at the reception, so on both visits, opted for things I wouldn't get at the wedding or in the landlocked state I live. I landed on the fried clam strips, the super fresh and incredible Caesar salad, grilled oysters (topped with Johnsons bays, sumac butter, just insanity), and the crème de la creme: the light fried scallops dish. I could write sonnets about that fried scallops dish. My neighbor at the bar ordered it on my first visit and found it so amazing, he insisted on letting me try it, and oh jeezus this dish is a love letter to the seafood gods. Ordered a full plate to myself on my second visit and it is genuinely one of the most perfect things I have ever eaten: lightly fried scallops and fried slices of lemon, sea urchin aioli, sea beans. No notes, just perfection. The Caesar salad was so satisfyingly umami, crunchy, perfectly lightly dressed. The grilled oysters had the most heavenly sumac butter, herby taste. A total win of a casual lunch, made even better with an excellent wine menu for pairing with seafood (the skin contact orange and alberino were unreal and very reasonably priced!) For dessert, I got the key lime pie which was completely homemade, huge (required saving leftovers for a late night snack) and just the *chef's kiss* way to end my meal. Took a nap after each lunch here and had my friends at the wedding asking about this place, I raved about it so much. This restaurant will forever live in my mind as the Meals You Dream About from Vacation.“
“We've walked by a million times over the years, and finally decided to check it out on a recent Saturday night - definitely glad we did! There was a brief wait for a table as we didn't have a reservation, but we sat at the bar and had a cocktail, and were seated right quicker than the time they had quoted us. Our server was lovely, and the meal was fantastic. The garlic bread, meatballs, and pasta fagioli were awesome, to start off with. Both our pasta dishes were beautiful, and we enjoyed dessert as well. It was a great time, and we are excited to go back.“
“We had a wonderful dinner here just after it re-opened with new owners. The food and cocktails are amazing. We loved that they have half portions of many dishes which made sharing and trying multiple dishes fun and easy. Atmosphere is great- we love the changes in decor especially the new comfy chairs. Ben always makes the best cocktails in town and everything we had was delightful. Highly recommend for a delicious dinner out or special occasion. Can't wait to come back for the patio!“
“Waiters and manager are very friendly. Food is great. Menu is pretty extensive, and you can substitute and they have Gluten Free. Salad was clean and crispy. And not overly expensive: we had drinks, main, dessert and it was around 40 each. Definitely coming back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu is availableParking: It was easy to find a parking spot“
“Every time we are in Rehoboth, we stop here. They have a wonderful happy hour, which is just a bonus. We love to get a lobster and enjoy all of their food. The decor is beautiful and the service is always great!Parking: Paid parking along the street, but we have never had a difficult time finding any.“
“This place caught (no pun intended) our eye as we were headed to Thrashers at Rehoboth Beach. I LOVE fish and chips, so we decided to give it a shot. The cozy interior has a variety of signs and such with a clear British theme. The music is an homage to British music. It was quaint and comfortable. Due to it being the off-season, there was plenty of seating. We perused the menu for a moment and decided to sample a few items to get a feel for the freshly made items. According to our server, Mo, everything is freshly prepared, freshly battered, and, where appropriate, fried. We ordered the shrimp sampler which included a cornucopia of fried and stuffed shrimp. It was delicious. The stuffed shrimp had the perfect amount of crab. The coconut shrimp had a wonderful coconut flavor. It wasn't too overpowering. We also sampled the freshly made onion rings. They were amazing. They were very crunchy, slightly sweet, and slightly salty. The star of the show was the fish and chips. The filets were perfectly battered and crunchy. The fish was flaky and tender. I tried some with the malt vinegar, and it was tart and crunchy. I also tried some with their tartar sauce, and it was also delightful. We saved some room for the battered and fried cheesecake. Wow. It was piping hot, so we had to let it vent for a moment, but afterward...incredible. There was a smattering of powdered sugar, a drizzle of raspberry sauce and a few dollops of whipped cream. It was decadent. There were some additional British items that I'd love to go back and try, like the bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, and the sticky toffee pudding. The prices were around what you'd expect for the location and well worth the value. We'll definitely be back.“
“The reason you want to go to Lupo is Todd. He was our bartender and he defined a new level of services and experience when he comes to dining out. He was attentive, proactive and full of recommendations (food, drink and what else to do). If I could give 7 stars just to Todd, I would! Our was both good and ok! I got the caco e pepe and was little underwhelmed. My wife got the bolognese and it was very good! Whatever you like to drink, order it. I lost count of how many times customers were walking out of the restaurant, exclaiming over my shoulder, "Fantastic drink!"“
“What a great little spot this is. Stopped in by chance, so happy we did. Had the pleasure of meeting Brittany, Jewel and Ania. They gave customer service a new meaning. We will definitely be regular customers, not just for the great food, but mainly those young ladies made our day. Thank you so “
“I just love this place. The people are nice and attentive. The menu is varied so there is something for everyone. I have eaten there often and have never had a bad meal. Yesterday, I had a piece of broiled grooper. It was sooooo good. And so we're the fries ( sometimes a throw away attentive side). I ate all of them. And the wine list is not too bad. The prices are really affordable. My only complaint is that the bread served with the mussels is not worth the calories. Everything else is wonderful!“
“This was a fantastic brunch! First, the maitre d' was fantastic. Second, our waiter was perfectly professional. The food was really good, the decor was wonderful, the piano background was great, and looking out at the ocean couldn't be beat!“
“I went here with my mom at around 2 pm. They have daily specials so we got a wagyu burger for only $10. We also got a crab cake sandwich which is really good! So fresh and no breaded. We also got a dozen of oysters for only $12 at happy hours (3-6 pm) which is really a great deal and the oysters are high quality. For drinks they recommended me a ‘ crush’, I got the creamsicle crush, which I really love it. The view of the sea is also a big plus. Will definitely come back in the future!“
“First time visit, will not be our last! Stopped by for some live music, dinner and beverages. Gina took great care of us all evening. Atmosphere inside was wonderful. Rainy evening, but the outside bar/tables look like a lot of fun. Shrimp and sausage gumbo was delicious!“
“We really enjoy every Fin’s location. Just visited this one for the first time. Great bar atmosphere to sit, eat and have a couple drinks. Dill was our bartender, he is friendly and offers good suggestions. The food is top notch really! A must “
“This is my family's first trip to Roehboth Beach, and on the way in last night we seen Poke Bros. My wife being from Hawaii we knew it was a must stop for our trip. We dropped our stuff off at our rental house and went right back for dinner. I got the High Tide and she got the Da Kine. Both were extremely good. We left talking about how this was the best Poke place we have been too outside of Hawaii. Friendly staff and great food. We will definitely be back at least one more time before out vacation is over.“
“Arena’s Pub on Coastal knocked it out of the park AGAIN! We ordered delivery and boy, were they prompt! I’m a creature of habit and am addicted to their Reuben sandwich! Order it every time. I haven’t found a place in DE or PA that can beat Arena’s Reuben! They know how to make it! They butter their rye bread when grilling. The sandwich is heaped with fresh corned beef, gooey Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, coleslaw, and 1,000 Island dressing. And when I request extra dressing, they actually give me extra dressing. I just love this place. Can’t say enough great things about this deli/pub! Definite five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Other favs to consider are their wings and their cheesesteak hoagies!“
“Where do I start... Greeted with a beautiful smile from Maggie upon entering the restaurant. Server was Valorie and is the best in the business. Very friendly and attentive, taking care of our needs. The food is excellent. Prepared by what seemed to be a Master Chef. It was so good we returned the next day to celebrate a birthday. They offer daily specials. I had their steamed shrimp one night and their crab cakes the next. Don't judge the restaurant by the outside appearance. The atmosphere inside is fun and worth a few photos. And best of all, they allow family pets (dogs) as well as service animals. There is an outside dining area for dogs and their humans.“
“Hugo showed up at 7:55 AM , he got us in business within the hour. Replaced the part. Put booties on. The doggo loved him, he loved her. Hugo was fantastic, as was Cody who originally came out and diagnosed the the problem an ordered the part. Fantastic organization!!! Totalteam effort! Absolutely DO recommend and Salt Air won’t let you down!“
“We went to the restaurant asking about outdoor dog-friendly seating, but they don't have it in the off season. So we asked about to-go orders and they sent us to the market next door.We were able to order quickly and our food was ready within 20 minutes. The seafood was fresh and delicious. All the fried seafood (oysters, seafood combo) were great and the crab cake sandwich disappeared in a few minutes. My grilled scallops were flavorful and tender, not rubbery at all. My only complaint is I think they gave me one wrong dish -- I had ordered the teriyaki glazed scallops with saffron rice and fries, but they just gave me a scallop skewer with fries. Regardless it was still delicious!“
“Wow! So I am a long term lover of lobster roll, and having a mom that moved to Cape Cod years ago, had many from Connecticut to Maine. My good friend Andy and I were early strong supporters when Quincy's Lobster Rolls set up their first area shop on Swedesford Road, Berwyn, and were sad when it closed. This year someone opened same franchise in Paoli, but the sandwiches had shrunken in length, were no longer stuffed to the gills with pure claw meat like before, and portions were notable smaller than what we remembered. Enter Cousins Maine Lobster Roll food truck of PA and Delaware, (found on Facebook under "cousins maine lobster delaware / pa" for days/locations, nearest to me Exton Mall, east side across lot from Boscov's parked next to the loop road around mall). They serve up exactly what I used to love about Quincy's (before they cheaper down their sandwiches with smaller rolls, smaller portions, and cot in a lot of lobster meat scraps not from the claw!) For just under $21 you get a 5" frankfurter roll(the proven best vehicle for lobster!) overstuffed with nothing but fresh, tender and delicious Maine lobster claw meat. They have a very broad and interesting menu that includes Clam Chowder, Lobster Bisque, lobster grilled cheese, lobster tots, lobster tacos, shrimp tacos, Lobster tail and Tots, Lobster Quesadilla, or you can set up your own make at home Lobster Roll Party with everything you need to serve one or two pounds of Lobster claw meet with everything you need! (THAT has "Super Bowl Party" written all over it, and how memorable will that be with your appreciative guests! ) Having the Maine Lobster roll today at the Exton Mall location for the food truck turned me into an instant strong fan, but also refreshed my memory of what I USED to get at the original Quincy's, to the point that I went back and revised my review (and score) for Quincy's Paoli! Check my pix below for menu, Maine lobster roll, and food truck pix! Oh, and before I forget, on days they are in Exton, they are there from lunchtime through 7:00 pm.“
“My daughter (16) and I were in the mood for a nice dinner while in Rehoboth Beach so we decided to go with a reliable favorite, Blackwall Hitch. She had the Chesapeake Alfredo (no mussels or bell peppers) and I had the Filet (medium well, cherry cabernet sauce, rosemary parmesan butter, garlic & gruyere whipped potatoes, charred broccolini). For dessert, we shared the warm chocolate chip cookie skillet (topped with vanilla ice cream). As expected, a great meal. Pleasant staff. Highly recommend!“
“We went for the first time on Easter for the well publicized buffet. The New England clam chowder was the star as it was very good! So was the steamed shrimp, carved ham, deviled eggs and fresh cut fruits. Our omelette took more than 30 minutes after we ordered it and asked about it twice. It was very dry and unappealing. We glanced at the dessert offerings that appeared old and dry and we didn’t try them as a result. To spend over $100 for 2 people it wasn’t worth it. Half of what was offered was good the other half was very disappointing. There are so many good restaurants in this area, sadly, this is not one of them.“
“Had an absolutely amazing meal and gathering tonight at Drift. All of the dishes (and we had several!) were just fantastic. Amber, who served us, was not only friendly but so well knowledgeable regarding the menu. We sat outside on the patio…really a nice experience! Comfortable, well enclosed and some nice fresh air. Thank you to all at Drift for a great evening! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.“
