Iron Hill has seen a dip in quality and options over the years. This one is okay at best

Great atmosphere, service, and food at a great price.

We were impressed with some new menu options available since our last visit. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my cocktail, the Blackberry Mule. We had the shrimp bucatini and the Brewbun sandwich with sweet potato fries and then finished off with the bread pudding....yum.

Zero beef in the short rib stroganoff.. fried spicy chicken sandwich had zero flavor. Service was good....but based on the food, we won't be back.

Normally I don't go to a place with below a 4.4 on google. But I wanted to try it out. Not from the area. First the staff and service was great. Taylor was very friendly. The atmosphere and view was great. A nice venue. But then the stout I wanted was out. The porter was very good. The food is the drawback. Maybe I had the wrong thing. I had one of the chefs special. Shrimp etoufee. I asked Taylor and she said she hadn't had it nor did she know anyone that ordered it. Decided to try it. I think it came out of a microwave. The food on top warm but rice underneath cold. It's like they scooped the rice out of the fridge and put the mixture on top. Oh well the beer was good

A perfect place to relax after a tiring day. The best option to try craft beers.

We made a reservation for 8 people at 6. When we arrived at 5:55 they told us they were pushing tables together. Around 6:15 an hostess approached us and asked if we could do a high top table. We stated that we did not want a high top as we had kids with us. She told us it would be another 25-30 minutes for our table if we didn't want a high top. I told her that was disappointing. At that point she condescendingly told me to request a low top the next time I did a reservation. I then informed her that I had requested a low top since there were kids with us. She paused for a second and then flippantly asked us what we wanted to do. She did not offer other options or solutions and pretty much implied we could leave. At that point we chose to go to another restaurant. I found this entire experience surprising and disappointing. We have been to iron hill many times and have always enjoyed it. I don't have the hostesses name who spoke to us in this manner. I simply want to bring this to your attention. Why take reservations if you are not able to accommodate them? And then not offer a solution when this situation arose.

Slow service (Went to the bar to get my drink since it was just sitting there), food was not good, and when spoke to the manager, she really didn't care

Food was meh. Omelet looked like it was reheated. Half the lettuce in my lettuce wrap was bad. Biscuits were very dry and pretty much unedible. Food wasn't even the worse part. The service was horrible. Our waitress was not attentive and somehow messed up who she took orders from at our table. She left without getting orders from everyone at our table. We watched our drinks sit up at the bar for the longest time. My wife ended up just going up to the bar and grabbing hers; oddly no one stopped her. When she came back with our change from paying the bill she had a wad of cash in her hands; counted what our change was and handed us part of the money in her hands. No reciept given to show the exact amount of change due. Also odd there were no coins, just bills in the change. We tried to call over the manager but she was just as oblivious. The manager either purposely ignoring my wife or just as oblivious as the waitress didn't acknowlege my wife saying excuse me to her as she stood right behind her.

Came here with our young granddaughter’s on Friday, March 1st. Our server (I wish I got her name) was PHENOMENAL! All smiles and quick! Food was delicious as well. I’m hoping she will recognize us from the photo so she know whose day she made special!

Atmosphere and beer was good. I ordered the Fried chicken sandwich with the Korean bbq and pickled veggies for an additional $2 and it was underwhelming. There as barely any sauce on it and there were maybe 10 pickled carrot strings on it. It was dry and sad. I was expecting at least a handful of pickled veggies. And some sauce. My husband's meal looked fantastic. He got the stacked burger and it was loaded with flavors and items. Maybe check the items before sending them out of kitchen. The chicken sandwich was definitely not up to par.
