One of the best restaurants in Wilmington. The grilled octopus is absolutely amazing. The duck breast was cooked to perfection. Great drinks, and amazing ambiance.

La Fia always delivers. The menu is season and each dish is always an amazing combination of flavors and texture. Get any of their pasta dishes, for years they are packed with such inventive flavors and the pasta is expertly cooked al dente. The duck confit has been on the menu for years and we never tire of it. Same for the octopus. La Fia has been our favorite restaurant for years.

We went for the prix fixe Valentine's dinner and the food was phenomenal. We tried some things we hadn't had before, like smoked scallops and gnudi, and it was all just exceptional. My husband's duck was melt in the mouth perfection, best we have ever had. They also had a berry pavlova for dessert which just thrilled us, because it's such a good dessert but it's not common here in the US. This blended the sweet and tart perfectly so it wasn't an overwhelming sugar bomb. Literally our only complaint was the portions. This might've just been because it was a special prix fixe menu, but my fish and my husband's duck breast was maybe 2-3 ounces each; that's an app in my opinion. It felt more like tapas than a main dish. But we'll be back to try more of their regular menu because the quality really was outstanding.

A long and lovely meal at La Fia! Cocktail, Duck confit, beet salad, pork chop, dessert and coffee all just right. Not for the thrifty - it worked out to about 100 pp w tip - but we were both very pleased with our meal and our experience

Another brilliant meal at La Fia! It is absolutely the best dining experience in Wilmington, and compared to really just about anywhere. We had the Eggplant Milanese appetizer which is just amazing; so distinctive in both taste and presentation, with such bright and deep flavors—just phenomenal. Then I had the duck leg confit which is always incredible: crispy skin, rich flavor in the duck and combined with the different textures and flavors of the accompaniments on the plate. My friend had the scallops, a new starter, as her meal, and said they were amazing. And the chocolate cake for dessert was fantastic. As always, the red samurai cocktails were on point—the most perfect cocktail anywhere. So grateful La Fia is in Wilmington!

Was our first experience in here, we was rea impressed with everything, the food OMG , the recommendations from our waitress was on point, she doesn't disappoint us. We definitely be back
La Fia was wonderful! We had a party of 4, including one vegetarian. We all chose the Prix Fixe menu. Each dish was obviously carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. Two of ordered the Mission Fig Toast, and would order it again in a minute. The entrees were so delicious we shared tasted around the table. Finally, the desserts really topped off the dinner. Each was unique, not something you would find at other restaurants. The service was so good, we felt like we were special guests. La Fia is a very special place.

Food is amazing and not pretentious. Never had a bad meal there (and I have been there a lot). Drinks are really good especially when Amy is making them. Best old fashioned I’ve ever had.

Just great!!!!!! It says I need at least 85 characters in order for reviews to be printed here. So.... great, really good, enjoyed the place, well served, I liked the atmosphere and the food was....just (insert many many complimentary adjectives you know here) great!!!!

Unfortunately, my friend and I did not read the fine print at the bottom of the reservation and we were asked to leave our seats after one hour and 30 minutes. Too bad they couldn't have pointed this out at the beginning of our reservation instead of allowing us order two expensive drinks, and allowing us five minutes to finish them. Left a very bad impression.

La Fia continues to be our favorite place to celebrate a special occasion. We received exceptional service from Natasha throughout our meal. The bar staff prepared top quality libations and the chef and kitchen crew created delicious dishes. Everything was presented with care and attention to detail. The Kingfish Crudo, Grilled Octopus and Brazilian Fish Stew were excellent!
