We came from far away and even called to see what time they closed. We arrived and they told us that there was only carnitas and little tripe. Later we heard that another boy was being made quesadillas from the pastor when he had entered after us. When we asked if there was al pastor, a waitress told us no. Anyway, we asked and if there was. We ordered 10 al pastor tacos and it turned out that there were some. I ordered a quesadilla and I ordered it to eat THERE since they closed at 6:30 and it was only 5:45 or so. They took the sauces before bringing me the quesadilla. They never took it to me. They put it on a to-go order. My husband was able to hear when someone said that if "he wasn't going to fill himself up with what he even asked for." There were more people who came in and were told that there was no more food. I heard a girl tell them, "But I called and they said they closed at 6:30." We won't come again, and it's good that they have a lot of clientele, etc... but our money is worth the same as the money of the person who came in the morning, or at 1 pm or at 3, etc... We feel rushed, and we don't welcome. The food is good, no matter what, but for what we paid, the service was not what we expected.

Authentic as you can get and I used to live in San Diego. I can guarantee that mine was the only English speaking voice that will be heard in this restaurant today. The food is as close to actually being in Mexico as you can get; it was delicious and the staff was super friendly.

Very good taco place... authentic mexican place and not a typical americanized mexico joint.Tried Sausage with eggs tacos, beef steak tacos and chicken tamales - all were good. The salsa they give is what brings out all the flavors. Be careful with habanero onions though - extreme heat and burn you like anything.

The food is too expensive and taste dirty not to mention it looks like they make the food out of the bathroom . The restaurant looks worse than a bathroom .

Haven't been here in years. Remember my parents taking me here as a teenager. Anyhow my mother wanted some menudo, figured I would order from here. I purchased 3 menudos @$17 each which includes handmade tortillas (3) cilantro, cebolla & onions on the side. Plus homemade hot sauce. I also included a steak torta $11 & 4 chorizo tacos @ $4 each. My total was $78 they charge a fee when using a card so then my total was $80. I don't mind paying for high priced food at all. But what I do mind is the customer service. it was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. mean ass donas. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on happy paying customers. That's how you loose business. As I was paying I asked if they could give me a side of additional cilantro and onions as I seen they only had bagged one. Mind you I ordered THREE MENUDOS. & when I had placed my order I had mentioned it to the person taking my order that one of the menudos was going to someone else (meaning two different locations. The ladies meaning two. One was bagging orders while the other one was taking the payments and both answered no loudly. I looked at them shocked and confused. That I should have mentioned it when placing the orders. Because I did. I didn't want to argue to be honest so I pleaded with the lady and told her I would next time. But the communication is horrible amongst staff and the way they talked to me was so rudely. Hasta quería llorar por la forma que me hablaron las donas. Y ay que decir la verdad la comida no está ni tan buena. Nomas porque las tortillas son echas a mano si no ni pa que porque la forma de tratar al cliente es horrible. Y que mal. Y feo.

I can't say enough about this place. I love it. I was a chef for 20 years and this is the best Mexican restaurant in Delaware. They hand make the tortillas. Everything is great. Actually I am gonna go there now

I dont like giving places stars as rating. My thing is will you ever go again or not. To answer that question, yes i would go again. Here’s why:Pros:Authentic Mexican foodQuick serviceFresh ingredientsTasty foodTake outDine inTakes cashTake cardsLoved the green salsa and the amount of onions and cilantro they really make the food taste amazing all the fresh toppingsCons but not really: to me but might not bother someone elseInside could use some cleaningI wouldn’t dine in personally as it doesn’t give me dine in vibes for me. But they do offer dine in. Places like this is for getting take out for me but it may be fine for others.Bit of a language Barrier solely my fault as it’s 2023 i should know Spanish so no fault to them but i believe everyone there speaks Spanish so just be prepared and know what you want to order (i was able to order just fine fyi)A bit on the expensive side (i got 1 sausage quesadilla and 2 tacos it came to $17) however we are in a recession and it’s a small family owned business so I’m not complaining at all

They take more time than the time they tell you. We are currently waiting for 46 minutes of just 2 menudos and 3 tacos. Unbelievable, when we went to ask for our order the service was rude, unorganized, unprofessional and overall mean to us. They told us to “go buy somewhere else then if you can’t wait 20 minutes”
