“After seeing such good reviews and pictures of food that was well-presented, I decided to overlook the sports bar ambience and give it a shot. Sadly, though, it didn’t live up to the hype. The sliders were bland and cold, and it seems like they garnish everything with cornishons (which I happen to love; it’s just not unique if it’s on every item). The bruschetta was great. The octopus was good, but only a single tentacle. We all just felt it was a bit overpriced for the ambience and overall flavor. Presentation, however, was excellent. I think I overheard another server saying they were short staffed, so maybe that affected the quality that night.“

Our daughter turned us on to MJ's and, with high hopes, we set off to find this rather non-descript exterior tucked next to a convenience store just off SR64. Don’t let the exterior fool you. Inside, the food, service and ambiance exceeded our every expectation. Five of us sampled six different menu offerings and all of us were struck by the complex flavors a good kitchen can produce. A clearly well-experienced server, Mattie was knowledgeable about the entire menu, attentive to our needs -- but not to a fault -- and allowed us to proceed at our own pace. Ok my taste, do you ?, I went with BOWL: Kayla, they have two different once, I chose the one that is not the kayak Ceaser only cause I'm on restrictive diet aka losing weight,then I added Spinach, then topped with garbanzo beans, it's mild spicy but in a good way, then brousals, I added broccoli but they charge 2.70 for additional sides, protein I went with blackened chicken, all the avocado I can get(that's free ? and healthy), and all the additional sides tomato, and well you get the picture, finally I went with balsamic dressing, amazing, came out to 20.00 with tip at the most may have been two or three dollars less not exact on it but not over 20.00. And I got a free up of water and yes I got water, the soda/water machine is in the corner, a little hidden. Then before I left I refilled with water and mixed some soda as a sweeter, just because I love sweets. You will love this place. Also you can order online which is much faster and no stress about rushing to order cause the place can get full. “Had a dinner meeting with a colleague from NC. Beautiful location to show off our town. Dinner was good. I enjoyed the grouper artichoke gratin. I was disappointed in the 1976 salad. The old Pier Restaurant used to serve a similar salad, but this one was lacking.Parking: Up close parking is difficult due to the reserved Marina parking. The parking garage is a block down the street.“

The restaurant has high tops, bar area seating, booths and regular table heights for larger groups. Plenty of TVs all around to view your favorite sports programming. Their wings are cooked to order, which is rare as some other local restaurants blanch them then they just douse them in the type of flavor profile you want. The pizza is outstanding, and they make a great buffalo chicken salad. Start out with Howl at the Moon Fries! One of the great things about Wolves Head is the wait staff. They have some outstanding servers who make sure you have a great experience while you are there. Ian, Danny and Aubrey are best in class when it comes to Customer Service. “Landed an early dinner yesterday at Post! Open for lunch and dinner beautiful decor, excellent service. The manager, Marlee stopped by several times to make sure everything was just right, nice touch for the evening . Our server Zachary was knowledgeable and provided us a wonderful experience. They are busy but they do take reservations! It was a little chilly on our visit for outdoor seating, but it's a beautiful outdoor option. “Geckos is always our place to go for a quick, casual meal. The service is terrific and the menu is extensive. The food quality is very very good. I love their burgers and their tuna poke bowl. They have great salads and pasta and tacos and quesadillas. Their fish sandwiches are good too. My husband loves their tuna crunch wrap. It's a big portion and we sometimes share it.The restaurant is always busy but we rarely have to wait for a table more than 10 minutes. Geckos is a sports bar and they have TVs everywhere.Give it a try!“

Service was great, personable and fast. Food was served relatively quickly based on how busy they were. I had a blackened Mahi sandwich. It was delicious, but not very blackened (only negative). Bottomless nachos and salsa were delicious as well, chips not very salty which is an added bonus. My wife had the rice bowl with chicken and she enjoyed it. Overall a nice option for a casual dinner with friends. Reasonably priced for the quality ($30 pp incl tip). “Should Treat Elderly Better! Worst restaurant experience for a birthday celebration ever! I arrived with my mother to celebrate her birthday with a early dinner celebration at around 4pm. We brought my 91 year old grandmother that can barely walk without the use of walker much less stand for long periods of time. We came early so we could avoid the liability of crowds for my grandmother. When we arrived there was not that many people waiting, and we were told there would be a 10 min wait. We struggled to find any seating for my grandmother while we waited because they were all taken, so we walked back up to the check- in desk and she was able to hold herself up on the ledge of desk. None of the staff seemed concerned that she was not steady. We waited patiently and a text message was sent for us to be seated . We were checking in with this text message at the desk and at this same time the restaurant was suddenly flooded with more people then just the 2 other parties waiting. It was a chaos of people that were not being properly controlled by the several staff members. My grandmother almost fell and I had to lead her to an empty table to sit quickly. Meanwhile your check in staff could not seat us, even with us showing we had been texted to be seated. I felt irritated that this same check in women had seen my grandmother struggle from moment we arrived and was repeatedly looking at her computer and calling several other parties to be seated and ignored our whole situation. I asked for a manager assistance because she could not quickly figure out anything and was told by a man that came up and was helping her look in computer that he was the manager. I then handed him my phone with text message to prove we should not only be seated but before the several other people walking by grandmother while she struggles to stand. He was not able to help and by this time I was frustrated, so we got no where. The only way out of this situation was by another waiter that was so kind to see that my grandmother was in need and got her seated. He had done this while I was unaware and at desk asking for help. None of the staff or manager came over to apologize. I feel bad for any elderly people that have to experience this type of treatment. They need to hire a person at the front desk that has more people skills and knows how to properly take care of crowds to avoid them getting out of control and chaotic. And the entire staff needs to be trained in how to handle our elderly with care and kindness instead of the bitterness we recieved.“
“Chicken was great, fries were average (not much taste), sauce for the chicken was good, service was great, prices were actually lower than Canes or Zaxby’s, speed was great even during lunch time…gave it minus one star because of something looked over, when you order an Oreo shake the straw provided is very narrow to the point you can not actually use it. I’d say overall, way better than Zaxbys, not quite as good as Raising Canes.“

The waitress took our order when she came back with out drinks she spill it all over my mother and it was hot water for her tea. My mother screamed to loud her pants were wet and her leg was burning. You would think that the waitress would nock of the bill for her food but no we still had to pay for my mothers food. The waitress said that was the second time today that she did that. “Excellent service,good food and great view from the deck.My elderly mother passed out on the way out of the restaurant. The manager and her wait staff were very helpful during this emergency. After the manager called 911 for us, she helped with the 9 month old baby in our party while I helped my mother. She stuck with us until the ambulance arrived. The staff were also clam and helpful with comfort measures like ice and cold cloths. Me and my family were grateful for their assistance in our time of need.Wheelchair accessibility: Two long ramps. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly.
