I started with some nachos and followed with 3 Suchi Rolls Volcano, Firecracker, and Paradise with hot Saki. “Ploy Thai is a beautiful restaurant with attentive service and delicious food. The Crispy Duck Panang was the best we've had anywhere in Tampa Bay and the Pad Thai was delicious and a huge portion! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. This is a great place for a casual dinner out with friends or a date night.“
“First time here. Loved the variety of sushi. We ordered quite a few rolls to try and they were fresh and delightful. Loved some of the specialty rolls. Great priced. Check their combos. We had leftovers cause we ordered too much. Great the next day.“
“This was our first time here, per recommendation. We wanted a sushi roll that was full of flavor with a bit of heat, the diablo delivered. We were recommended, chef’s choice, the Raising Sun roll. It was subtle enough to let the buttery flavors of the the fish shine. We were generously gifted with a cucumber and fish bite, and a round stuffed crisp treat. Which by the way were so good. The round stuffed treat was a burst of flavor. We also ordered the traditional sides. We will definitely come back and try other things off the menu. Everything was delicious and satisfying.“

“SUSHI IS SUPERB! Been several times and the sushi is consistently fresh and pallet pleasing. Rarely a wait line with personable staff. One thing I love is that you have the option of walking in and sitting at the bar which offers wine, beer and specialty drinks. The service is okay, but it is the sushi chef that brings you back for more.“
“Had bad experience the first time I went. But figured it was due to the time I went. So, I thought I would give it another shot with a friend of mine. Holy cow what a difference. It was great the food, service and all. Been back twice in the same month. Tried the hot pot which we found was included with the buffet was even better. Plus a really good sushi section as well.“
“First time Visiting Kanji and won't be my last! The space is absolutely beautiful and comfortable! Everywhere I looked, I saw something new. The service was AMAZING! We were seated and greeted with these washcloths. Our server was SOOO sweet and really was helpful. One of my favorite foods are Buns and these pork buns were GREAT! The pork has such a nice flavor! Spring rolls were delicious and the side dishes were YUM! those gyozas were juicy and flavorful!!!! The ramen was pretty good as well- one of my favvvv things is udon and when I found out they had that add in, I was SHOOK!!! The only thing is, the broth wasn't my favorite! It was ok but I wish there was more depth in flavor. I've had many ramens in the past and this one is in middle ground, so it's ok, but not the best I've had. Dessert was BUSSIN!!!! Very yummy! I love that they offer those little meal bundles because I was able to get a little of everything for a great price! All in all, this is a great spot for lunch and/or dinner and I would def recommend! I'm excited to come back and try the skewers and sushi!“
