This was our first time here, per recommendation. We wanted a sushi roll that was full of flavor with a bit of heat, the diablo delivered. We were recommended, chef’s choice, the Raising Sun roll. It was subtle enough to let the buttery flavors of the the fish shine. We were generously gifted with a cucumber and fish bite, and a round stuffed crisp treat. Which by the way were so good. If you love and understand sushi then you know many restaurants make passable attempts but truly good sushi is rare. The art of sushi is alive at this small and unassuming restaurant. If the locals understood how well the sushi is prepared and the appropriate attitude displayed by the sushi chef(s), this place would be hours wait for a spot. Don’t miss it this hidden gem.
