“Will always be one of my favorites, have gone here since I was born, my family before then, so for over 25-30 years, before they even moved to this location, they just know how to do the dang bbq thang!! You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. I am loyal to the chicken nuggets most of the time, but always nibble on the ribs, pork and brisket sandwiches, and anything else the family gets ? the sides are delicious, green beans are always a must!! The owner, Danny, is so down-to-earth and generous. I've eaten birthday meals here, had them cater my graduation party, and know many weddings catered by Callahan! You just can't beat great food cooked by great people!Parking: Parking can be hard to find during lunch and dinner hours, as it is located in complex with other businesses, but there is usually a spot, might have to walk across the lot, but usually a spot!”

“Family friendly. We eat here at least once a month with church members; usually 10 to 15 people and they're very accommodating the wait staff are excellent never losing patience. When it was possible we call and let them know that we're coming and they try to have our tables prepared for us. If we have to wait there's no more than 15 minutes.”

“I like the idea of having your food in the pod, but the pod door closes so fast! And if you order more than 1 pizza watch out! It's HOT! I know the employees are trained to let you just keep punching in your number to try and beat the door and avoid getting burned, but they could at least OFFER to help! So, if it wasn't for the food being good, I'd give you a 3. Do better!”

“This place is good for being the only sushi place in Callahan. The first time we went, we weren't impressed, but we decided to give it another chance, and I'm glad we did. The food was so much better this go around. We will definitely be back.”

“They've had to raise prices over the past few years. I know. Inflation stinks. But they certainly haven't skipped on quality and quantity. I got a poo poo platter and a reg prok fried rice. I ate my fill. And easily have enough for 2 more meals. I actually spent alot of time inJapan. The food here is pretty on point.As for recommendations, ask for a spicy general tso's. That's my go to.”

“If you want just a good burger and fries this is the place. According to my husband, very little has changed from when he was growing up in the area. We ordered burger combos and our son got a pita. He raved about his sandwich. Our burgers were great with the perfect amount of toppings, and the fries were super hot and fresh. The service was fast and all the employees were friendly. The drink and condiment stations were clean and well stocked. If I'm guaranteed to get the same food and service I'll be back every time we visit the area.”

“I quit coming here for a while because the service was terrible but tonight was different. The night didn’t start out good, they were busy when we came in. When we sat down it was ten mins before anyone helped us and then we asked a server Melissa if she knew who our server was. She immediately asked what we wanted to drink and apologized for the wait. Although she wasn’t supposed to be our waitress she stepped right in and took our drinks and our order. She did end up serving us and she never let our drinks run out and she didn’t ignore our needs. We will be coming back when she is working and hoping she will rub off on the other waitresses there. Acknowledging a customer and kindness goes a long way even when it’s “ not your table” .”

“I ordered via Popeye’s website but when I got there they had no record of my order. I had the confirmation on my phone but the restaurant could not find it. Not sure if the issue was the website or the local store??? My chicken sandwich was great but fries seemed hard due over cooking ”

“I just had the best shrimp and made from scratch tarter sauce I've ever had. When I tell you I clapping my hands between bites ? I found my new favorite seafood place and they have karaoke on Friday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.! I will be back!”

“Got a philly cheesesteak to go, ordered it there. It was ready by the time I filled up my drink and took a picture of the king kong in the restaurant.The philly was good. I’d give it a solid 7.6/10. Meat doesn’t seem highest in quality and the onions weren’t chopped up enough for my liking but overall a good philly. I’d come back for sure to try their other options.”

“2024-02-20 Fantastic Pizza and super nice employees. We moved to Hilliard last year and there aren't many restaurants here. We have ordered to-go and eaten-in here multiple times. When we have family or friends coming from Fernandina we usually order Spinners to go and everyone loves it. When you ask for extra cheese you get LOTS of cheese with a smile. Salad and pizza bar is only a couple days a week but it's fresh and delicious, they even ask what kind of pizza you would like on the pizza bar! Restaurants this good are rare.Kid-friendliness: Nice to kids and a couple games in the back.”

“I will give this place 4 stars only because the parking around the establishment is kind of limited and unguided. However! The quality, taste, and skill the food is cooked with outshined that small offence. I've tried this place once before on a rainy day and enjoyed it just as much. But this time around, I tried something new; something that can be taken and eaten on the go; something so comforting I can't wait to try again: a Gordita pollo. I ordered it without revisions to the ingredients and was not at all surprised when I fell in love with the 2/$8 decadent deal. 2 hot tortillas enveloped in melty cheese, freshly grilled chicken, chopped onions and aromatics; this dish fueled my soul and my appetite for more delicious discoveries to make at this place. This place sits outside of landscaping business and neighbors a small produce stand. This is a great place to go with others, fill the benches with laughs and memories or meditate alone in the unbelievable aromas while you wait for your order.”

The food is consistently delicious, they serve Jamaican as well as other dishes, and the service is pleasant and friendly; but that’s not all, it’s a full sit down restaurant and bar!
