“First time trying Jimmy's. We lucked out and managed to instantly get seated at the bar when we arrived. We tried the snow crab, gator bites, oysters, gumbo, and a crab cake. The seafood was incredibly fresh with great flavor. The crab was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Everything was seasoned well. The crab cake had lots of meat which was very nice. The gator bites were okay, we never had it before, but I personally wouldn't order those again as the flavor was odd. Beware, on another night when we dropped by there was a 28 person wait ahead of us, so if its busy you will have a very long wait.”

“We attended Kelly’s Half Shell Pub on Sunday March 3rd 2024, the 4 of us had Guinness one of us was just introduced to it and love it. The pint were excellent! We had clams, Shepard pie, fish and chips along with lobster poutine, all served piping hot and delicious no complaints at all. The portions were big and left us full. We did split a key lime pie and it was also amazing. The best part of our night was our server Erica. H, she was on point all night checking in with us and quick wit and banter to boot! I will have to say in all my dinning experiences she rates number 1 in service and talent. Kelly’s is very lucky to have her around their tables. I hope she got her Strawberry cream donut! “TLDR is GET ICE CREAM HERE! You can probably tell by my waist size that I’ve eaten more ice cream than I care to admit but Guyer’s has to be among the best! It’s SUPER thick, creamy, flavorful, sweet… just amazing! I don’t know what kind of alchemy or magic they’re using but it even seems to melt slower than normal ice cream. My first trip I got 1 scoop of Blueberry Cheesecake and 1 Strawberry (fruit right… I can at least pretend that it’s healthier than chocolate)! My 2nd trip (yes it was like 18 hours later… don’t judge me;) I got 1 scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup (PB = protein so healthy) and 1 Manatee Kisses… all incredible! I haven’t had their donuts yet but I hear they’re equally amazing! They also have dairy free and no sugar added options and snow cones! There are only a few tables inside but it’s Florida so there’s plenty of seating out on their elevated deck! Not the cheapest but worth every penny and calorie! “What a lovely place with great a great selection of wines. Kasey was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the menu to us. We started off with the cheese tray and it was exceptional , the honey comb tasted so good! Then on to appetizers we had escargot and calamari with sauce on the side. For Entrées I had the duck and I loved the blueberry BBQ. My wife loved her filet we'll definitely be back it was a great date night!”

“I always enjoy my lunches at the Burger Station though recently apprehensive when I saw a health department review and saw there was a small violation+-- which was quickly taken care of and passed re-inspection. "Mold in ice machine"Look at this blue cheese burger with bacon! It was loaded! Who would not love this burger, besides a vegetarian? I savored every mouthful, and gave thanks for it. So SO good! “Shout out to the restaurant The Crab Plant in Crystal River. Perfect casual place for seafood right on the river. BIg menu, decent prices. The Stone crab was delicious. Blue crab chowder was excellent, full of crab meat. Salads are all homemade. Service was good too.Its a 45 minute drive to the little town, the restaurant is near the park on the water.CASH only, tho. Also it got very crowded by 530. We went around 430 and didnt have to wait.Nice place to go if you want seafood”

“First visit at Lugo’s Grill. This place is very cozy. Nice warm dark wood inside. Owners and staff are super nice and attentive. I had the best Cuban sandwich I have ever tasted so far and it was thick and huge. I haven’t been to Cuba or Miami but Lugo’s is closer ? and it was a really good sandwich. The generous amount of meats were seasoned perfectly and served between perfectly pressed flaky crunchy bread. All the portions coming out of the kitchen look generous and delicious so we will be going back to try something else. It is cash only which we are fine with and they have an ATM machine. I can’t blame them for not wanting to deal with credit card fees. There is a history of the place on the back of the menu worth reading.Update: Second visit - Tostones Rellenos were delicious and plentiful. I only wish they served Yucca fries as a side option with their sandwiches because they would be a unique diversion from French fries. Sides here are French fries, rice and beans or sweet plantains, which are all good.”
