Definitely something totally different and spectacular, with some very good Spanish tapas, the best oil-free empanadas and with a great variety, the seafood paella I highly recommend was delicious, as were the famous aiolis and bravas potatoes. Just OKWe went to Hispania on a Thursday evening when our intended restaurant was unexpectedly closed. Hispania wasn’t busy, so we headed there. Our server, who appeared to be an owner, was handling the front of house by herself and seemed a bit harried. The place is pleasantly decorated and spacious.We started with a carafe of Sangria. Delicious first visit to this small, family owned hidden gem in downtown Clearwater. Perfect for dinner prior to our concert at the park only a couple blocks away. We had beef empanadas, meatballs, octopus, and a cheese platter. All were authentic and very good. Sangria was homemade. Great art on the walls, too. Prices were very reasonable.
