Heard so much about this place and ended up very disappointed. Our server had NO personality and very slow service. Felt like he was doing us a favor. Meal was ok. Whole outside area seemed very disorganized last night. Will not be returning.

I love Island Way Grill, it’s my Sunday Brunch go to. The oysters alone make it worth the cost. The service is always amazing and I always sit outside by the water.The amount of selection for an all you can eat Sunday brunch is mind blowing. It’s impossible to try a little of everything it’s that much variety.I highly recommend you try it and don’t let the price worry you to much because once you see the quality of the food, you’ll think this is the best bargain in town, even at $38 per person. Always make reservations is my suggestion.

We've eaten there several times. Generally the food and service is good. When it is not, you're simply out of luck. Our last visit was a party of 3 and not very good. The waiter I believe was new.The drink orders came out wrong. It wasn't terrible, so I let it passWhen we ordered, the salads were to have French dressing, if not he should let us know and we would probable take Blue Cheese. We got 2 salads, no dressing. When the 3rd came out, there was still no dressing. He said he'd be right back with the dressings, unfortunately they were the house dressings. Eventually he came back with the Blue Cheese, but it was after the salads were nearly completed.Then dinner came out. We ordered two (2) 4 oz filets, one (1) 8 oz, two orders of mushrooms. They brought out three 4 oz filets, I told then it was wrong, and they took one back and left the other 2. The mushrooms came a few minutes later. The 4 oz filets were tough and not good quality.I inquired several times as to where my filet was, with only an I'm sorry, I'll check on it. After 30 minutes of waiting, they other two in our party were done eating, I told the to cancel my order.Then I decided to ask to speak to the manager. She came by, said, I already credited you $63, and did not want to hear any of this story. It she is reading it, it is the first time she has heard it. She stopped me from explaining my concerns and said it was such a beautiful night I should just go enjoy it.The credit they gave me was for one meal I never ordered, and the meal I never got. What I wanted to suggest was that the waiter get some additional training. The management could care less.When I got the bill, there were no credit on it, they printed the wrong one. When we were leaving, a server brought out my steak. What a group! So beware. If you have any problems, you're not going to get any chance of explaining it or getting it corrected.

We had 1:30 reservations for brunch because that's the only time we could get. We had a wonderful table by the water and a nice server.Only 3 starts because we were very disappointed that food was not being replaced in the brunch line. They were out of shrimp and oysters before 2pm. The omlet bar was closing down around that time too. They should have kept it stocked until 2:30 so we could enjoy the full experience.

This place was amazing! Service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing! I was there for a birthday party and the server was very accommodating! I order the Volcano fire Meatloaf and wasabi mashed potatoes. You'll be happy to know that the mashed potatoes were not as spicy as raw wasabi! They have a wonderful sushi section where you can sit and and eat while you watch the masterful chefs at their craft. The cuts of steak where like the art work displayed on the walls! All magnificent! Highly recommend for casual to upscale dinning!Parking: Valet if you can. If not, there may be parking in the surrounding areas. The Clearwater Marine aquarium is across the street and there's a parking garage.
