This place is a hidden gem. Totally legit BBQ and some of the best I have had in the country! It was a good sign to see Gene out in the parking lot chopping wood for the smoker as we drove in. All the food is home made. I have eaten BBQ all across the country, including Gates, Joes, Arthur Bryant's, Jack Stack and Q39. I would put this up against any of these other places. The people here are very kind and the place was really clean! The food was delicious! And we don’t usually write reviews for restaurants! That’s how you know the food, place, as well as service here was and is great! ??

Got the Ribs Dinner for take out. Ribs and sides, a solid four stars. No room for the pecan pie; I will try it tomorrow. Unfortunately, they told me that they are CLOSING FOR GOOD after tonight, December 11, 2021.
