“I order take out a lot but I am always missing something when I unpack my bag like sides of the sour cream or my quac side, But always LOVE the food! Hopefully they will do better with the take out though, only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars!“
“Taco meats well seasoned. Real homemade red and green salsad. I added carne asada to my Torta(wich by the way is soooo big)and was the best idea. My daughter enjoy the Torta(first time trying). Their birria tacos with consome are awesome! Worth the price. Hope they can mame it more often.“
“We had a late lunch, around 1:30. Restaurant had about 10 customers and was clean and spacious. Server (maybe owner) Santiago, was very friendly and helpful. Tried 3 street tacos; rice and beans; chips and salsa; and, Mojarra. The Mojarra (deep fried Talapia) is made picante so let your comfort level be know when ordering or ask that it be made with garlic. Tacos are served with onions, cilantro, and radish on fresh corn tortillas. The salsa was fresh and the chips were warm and crisp and tasty. We sampled some of the more spicy salsa with the chips and also had some of the salsa verde: a must try). Reasonably priced and the cold beer very reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants (Modelo Especial at this writing was $3.50). Soft drinks available as well. Clean restrooms. Quite satisfied. Don't have pictures but those posted by others are spot on and representative of what we had.Kid-friendliness: Menu items for kids.“
“My Mezcal Chicken and Shrimp was very tasty, although my wife's Guacamole Salad, which is usually very good, disappointed her. It was too much cilantro, tomato, and salt, and not enough avocado, even after sending it back to the kitchen to be corrected. Despite that, I would definitely give them a another chance, as the other times we've visited the food has been consistently good.“
“Do not judge it by the appearance. It is simple in decoration but they know how to cook Puerto Rican and El Salvadorian food. We had 3 orders of Mofongo & Tostones with MayoKetchup, an order of Papusas (bean and cheese) and the beans and rice were fantastic. Genesis was sour server and she was so kind and attentive. Fantastic experience for the 3 of us. Wish we lived in the area so we could visit often.“
“Amazing tacos: Queso Birria, Cabeza, Tripe, Lenguas--they have it all! A little pricey at about $3.25 per taco, but each is delicious and worth it. The location is somewhat inside a store and bakery, with not the best atmosphere--but you get the full experience.“
“The absolute BEST Mexican food with regional specialties like camarones Nayarit, or their authentic molé. The mushroom tacos taste like filet mignon and the tortillas are hand made. Be prepared for a leisurely dinner, but don’t fret, the drinks will keep you satisfied with their homemade tepache with mezcal or their fabulous margaritas. They still don’t seem to have a wine list but it does exist. You won’t be disappointed if you’re a true foodie and not an absolutist about Mexican cuisine. The stuff we generally get in the US has been Americanized ?. Go with an open mind and not on a time constraint.“
