From the start the afternoon was beautiful! Blue skies and a nice breeze was flowing. They have a few outdoor tables (I personally would have sat outside) but my hubby preferred eating indoors. The cutest place! It's a bit small, not too many tables indoors. So many choices from their bakery. Everything looked scrumptious! We ordered the onion soup and a pumpkin soup. Both were very tasty! I am a resident of the city and been here for over 30 years. I have been coming to this place from the beginning and I have to say that the prior administration was a disaster and totally mishandle this location which is an excellent location, now the new owners have made a huge improvement. The service is good and so is the food. A few touches need to be changed like plastic silverware and Smuckers generic breakfast syrup made from cornstarch, which is subpar to this place. the pastries look delicious and the vibe inside is very calm, feels like being in a library, it's very peaceful. the service was fast and they were very polite. it seems like the lunch menu might be better than the breakfast options so i will definitely go back to try again!
