“So I came in and realized that I ordered online to the wrong subway . I was extremely upset because I was heading to work and I couldn’t backtrack to the store that had already made my sub. The employee that was working there went up and beyond,and made my sub for me ,since I already paid on the app. She deserves recognition & a raise for doing this for me so I can eat before I go to work. I wish I knew her name but I came in 2:50 today. Thanks for making my day better “
“This place has amazing food and a very nice selection. I had my issues with my order, but the way that the second assistant Mgr handled the situation was very professional and courteous! I appreciate the fact that though there were issues there was less excuses and more action on fixing it. Thank you.“

“Absolutely satisfied with the customer service here today. I had been trying to get ahold of the woodland Blvd subway since 8am knowing we needed to place a large order to feed the guys packing and moving for us. After calling for over an hour and a half I drove there only to find a touch screen order which wasn’t ideal for the large order I needed to place. Called over to this subway at 2095 E. State Rd 44, Deland and the lady who I spoke with over the phone was soo helpful knowing it was short notice. I was able to pick up the food within the hour and keep everyone happy! Shout out to the girls who helped out at this location I wish I got their names! -Happy customer ?“
“I am impressed with how much better this store is now than previously. Everything was stocked, sandwiches made fast. One employee very friendly, the other was a little on the rude side. And the Italian herb and cheese bread was a little over cooked.“
“The food is always great and the people who work there r awsome.. when today to get a sandwich and there was one two people working right then and were alittle behind but they handled it.. only ran into one problem. i dont like onions on my sandwich, and they must have forgotten and put onions on my sandwich it not a huge deal because they were busy, so i understand mistakes can happen.....“

I got the Italian sub. I was tired today so the one lady had to keep repeating what she said but the other translated for me so they will remember me from this review. “The gentleman who took my order was so kind and helpful. The Caribbean Cuban was the best Cuban sandwich I ever had! We also ordered corn sorbet and cotton candy ice creams. Also very flavorful. Over all such a welcoming place and delicious food! Will be back!!!!“
“My wife and I are newbies in Deland from South Florida. Deland has so many unique gems. Manzano's is definitely one of them. Their menu of sandwiches is A+. I always here the same thing OMG are they good, wish they were open longer but boy is it worth running over there. My biggest surprise from them is their Cuban sandwich. I am Cuban from South Florida and I can tell you someone in the Manzano family has to be related because this sandwich is so good. Thank you guys for helping not miss the 305 too much.“
