“Great, affordable seafood. I know seafood, and this place has fresh food that is well seasoned. Even my 11 year old learned to love shrimp, and we went back a 2nd time. Great service both times, the servers are friendly and do a great job. The shrimp was all fresh, seasoned well and tasted great. We had fried, boiled peel n eat, Caribbean grilled skewer, boom boom and popcorn shrimp. All great. The boom boom shrimp tacos were so good. The crab cakes were decent, not the best but still good. Affordable too. Avoid the tourist traps and go here.“

“This was our first restaurant pick of our first time vacationing in Fort Walton near Destin. Eating out on the beach is something we’d not done before, so that was really fun. We enjoyed the firecracker shrimp tacos and bronzed fish tacos, with a slice of shared key lime pie for dessert. The seasoning on the fish and shrimp was incredible and the firecracker sauce was very tasty. The side of rice pilaf I chose was fantastic and the coleslaw my husband ordered was good (heavily mayo-based). The pie was a more subtle key lime and almost more of a cheesecake, which is always a delight as compared to an overly tart lime or artificially-flavored pie. The sweet tea was a very dark brew, which I loved.It was more pricey to eat here than we were expecting, about $23/plate, and the slice of pie was $8, but the meal was yummy and the atmosphere and location was a treat. Our waitress was very attentive as well; so all in all, we’re glad we came.“
“Came here based on reviews. Eating out is expensive while on vaca and we all wanted shrimp. So for 5 people we ordered 2lbs of royal reds and 1 lb of fresh gulf shrimp, Corn and potatoes and steamed for us with tip was $90. The royal reds were the best part!! Trey was friendly and knew his stuff when it came to shrimp. We didn’t get the key lime pie but he says it was the best! We would def do shrimp from here again!!“

“We are locals but this is our first time here. We walked up to the sky bar grabbed a table and immediately greeted by Chelsea as our waitress. She was AMAZING! But wait there’s more, she was not the only one that checked on us. 2 other bartenders (Jorge and Shelby) also checked on us for water, extra drinks, anything we needed. Definitely a team atmosphere. The live music, adult only, and couches over the water are an incredible vibe. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend even if you have a big group. The views of the harbor with heaters and fire pit make it a great place to come year round.“

“Absolutely incredible place to eat! The crab is unbelievably good. The jumbo shrimp is mouth mouth-watering so fresh and delicious. The seafood nachos were incredible as well. We tried so many dishes on this menu. We went here last year. This was our second time. We will be going back! The wait time can be a little ridiculous but the food is worth it. The service is great. “My husband and I held our wedding reception at Marina Cafe on 2/24/24! It’s one of our favorite restaurants on the Harbor! Everything was perfect from the planning with Bridget, to the delicious food, and especially the excellent service! I wish I could name each one of the staff who took care of our family and friends! Tina is amazing and treats us like family every time we go. Marina cafe was very flexible and open to our ideas. (I had one better meal elsewhere but it was a significantly higher price, so I'm giving five stars here.)The food was nearly flawless, including the simply spectacular cream of crab soup. The gumbo was great, but hope you like an above-average kick of spice. The snow crab meal was one of the best of its kind, with a generous portion and an amazingly craveable side dish (tempura broccoli).Loved the service also. Our waitress was training someone else and they were both gracious and helpful.On top of this, the atmosphere is pretty epic, being right on the marina in a lighthouse. “We loved the folks at IWC! Azro, Joey, and a brand new gal were all wonderful and made us feel like locals. Azro was wonderful with telling us some cool local sightseeing spots and was so patient with us as we sat outside with our dog and waited for a few hours before we could get into our AirBnB. Yes! They are dog friendly on the patio. They even have a healthy dinner menu for dogs and brought out a fresh bowl of water for our pup!They were all so wonderful that we went back a second time to watch some of March Madness.The bartenders make stellar drinks and the happy hour food seriously cannot be beat for size and price. The sauce was pleasant, battered perfectly fries, and tender meat inside. Survive was decent but we did show up late so maybe that's was why. Large groups may struggle to eat together outside, but the seating is all pretty close together. We went for a late lunch, and there wasn't a wait. Food came out quickly.“

“Could be a nice place, but our food came out super slow and scattered. About an hour and a half for the first entree to come out and about fifteen minutes later the last kid got their burger. My boneless wings came out first and they were room temperature. It's spring break and they're probably busy, but it could obviously be managed better. The waitress was new but tried hard to keep us happy, when the kitchen can't keep up there's not much the wait staff can do. One of the orders was wrong as well, dinner ended up being about a 3 hour trip. Nice atmosphere, great spot to hang with a group and watch games, but don't have high expectations if it's busy.“

Our server was Tyler, and he was great: very attentive, engaging, and friendly. The food was amazing I ordered the fish bowl that came with rice, beans, turnips, and fried Grouper, added some of Lulu's hot sauce and it was done. “In Destin for Christmas and went here on Christmas day. The place was full, but we got seated quickly by the water. Was a warm day, so this was just fine. Many televisions that had the day's games on. Server was very helpful and attentive. I had a bowl of seafood gumbo, my wife had a turkey sandwich/salad, and our daughter had fish tacos. The meal was good, and I had a Bloody Mary that was also very good. We will go back the next time we are in Destin.“
