This is an unpretentious Chinese-Venezuelan restaurant run by a family who had at one time the best Chinese restaurant in Caracas. We went because the Miami Herald ran a front page story on this restaurant. The food is excellent, we had egg drop soup and my husband won-ton soup, then we had the duck with all the trimmings and we also ordered shrimp in sweet and sour sauce, delicious. This place was right around the corner from our La Quinta hotel. We were wanting Chinese so we came here. Not disappointed at all. It was delicious. Just right amount served off of lunch menu. Some of the best egg drop soup I ever had. Plenty of egg in the broth where other places are skimpy on that. Would definitely recommend. Prices are definitely reasonable too.
We ordered a few dishes, kung pao chicken (spicy ) tofu with vegetables, beef chop suey, and half of steemed white fish, and 2 pcs egg rools, white rice included, all of it came to $81.20 for 4 ppl. The 3 dishes was not identical, however the content was the same, water chestnuts and lots of hoisin sauce in all of them and sweet too, and lots of seasoning in all of the dishes.
