“I tried JT SMOKEHOUSE yesterday for the first time. After riding by on my Harley that morning and catching the familiar smell of BBQ my mind was set on trying it. I got the Rib/brisket combo with Mac and cheese with collard greens. The tab came out to 25$. I was a bit hesitant until I felt the weight of my to go order. Lemme tell you this is some damn good BBQ. A small mom and pop place that has a small menu for a reason. Keep it small and do it right. The meat portion were perfect. “Ok so lemme tell ya. I got the full rack ribs which were incredible fall off the bone moist and just good flavor. The bbq sauce was on point as well. I tried the spicy and the sweet. Highly recommend for sure. The collard greens were super delicious with good chunks of meat as well. And lastly the Brunswick stew was mighty tasty as well. Deff give this lil spot a try if Yur in the area.“
“Today i went for the 1st time to the Barnwood Bar-B-Que restaurant after almost 4 years since i moved from Puerto Rico ?? to Eustis...WOW...if i happened to know this place was so good I'll never had waited for 4 years...but is was worth it! Let me start with the server...she was amazing and took care of everything in a timely matter...she welcome me like family...her service was outstanding...i order the special that was the Baby Back Ribs with 2 sides...i did the mac & cheese and french fries...and a slice of garlic bread...everything was fresh,hot and delicious! So kudos to the kitchen staff! Everything was clean and organized...nice atmosphere i mean...overall it was 5 stars! And then when I was walking to the car i finally met Dan the owner that i happen to follow on Facebook because like me he has a passion for bird photography...we talked a little bit about birds and places to go birding...nice to meet you Dan and you have an excellent restaurant and staff...congratulations!! ✌️??“
“New owner( not sure how it was before) Best brisket ever! I don’t eat brisket, but my husband us and I managed to wipe out my plate! That’s how good it was! Going back today for more before we head back to New York! Excellent service also! Can’t wait for lunch today! (the only thing is what they called Texas toast really isn’t. We had toast that was warmed, not toasted and margarine smothered margarine on top. Real butter would be amazing along with actually toasting it more! Potato salad was awesome too!“
“Just stopped in for a quick bite after an antique show in Mt.Dora. The entire staff was very welcoming, any questions we had were quickly answered. The food was 10/10. I ordered the bbq pork chop platter with mac and collards and ohmygosh! So yum! Falls apart in your mouth. Try out some other sauces too! The curry chicken was seasoned to perfection. Will be back!!!“
“Was a great experience very easy to deal with they went above and beyond everything was amazing from the food to professional service we had our wedding party catered for 60 people and not one person complained about the food as a fact there were several people in our party who said they would use lovings bbq and smokin Eddie again awesome people and food“
“We are sooo... lucky to have Oakwood right here in Eustis. We've had some great BBQ in our lives, and Oakwood is some of the best. Wifey thinks their ribs (special $ during the week) are as good - or even better ! - than back home in Chi-town. That's a real compliment. Their pulled pork sandwich special (includes a side and a soft drink) is well worth it and delicious. Strongly recommend. Love their takeout. People are helpful and friendly.“
