I’ve been dining at Cafe Vico for many years. I always enjoy the meal, service and atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in their menu and food. If you want very good Italian food with exceptional service give them a try.Parking: Good amount of spots in the plaza.Kid-friendliness: Always see families and kids.

Food and service, both excellent. It's just on the pricey side. For example, the veal picatta was $40.00, double the price at competing restaurants.

Excellent service, very good food. Somewhat overpriced. Drinks okay but again overpriced. I thought it was better under the old owners but it's okay and I will go back.
Excellent food with superb service and staff. They have fantastic entertainment by Jim!! It's a family owned & operated Italian restaurant, the owners, Marco & Eclair are super nice! Jim B sings & entertains so well, he is also very nice & personable. We love the happy hour too!!

We dined at Cafe Vico to celebrate our anniversary Open Table worked perfectly. I had linguine with white clam sauce and my husband had chicken rollatini. Both were outstanding. Tom, our server, took very good care of us, made excellent recommendations, and kept an eye on us for timing. The restaurant wasn't crowded. We would have enjoyed a bit more attention like keeping our water filled. Tom seemed to be spread a bit thin while others stood around. Overall, an excellent celebration!

17. Longtime customer food is always very good. Mauro and his wife always make us shield at home and welcome. I stopping by the table checking on us during the meal which is definitely a nice gesture. I see many of the same faces every time I go, which is a good sign. J Hoffman

Prices are very high. In comparison to other finer Italian dining establishments in the Fort Lauderdale area- not sure why this establishment feels they can charge above the average price. Their Bolognase Lasagna left a lot to be desired. Their Veal Parm was good, but again pricey. There was nothing that stood out to me as to why they feel they can charge considerably above the average. Subpar at best.

It wasn't the traditional Vico experience with Marco not at the front host stand. His standin, manager did a nice job of circulating around to the tables to check on them, which has been a ritual by Marco for many years. Everything was great, but a youthful server just didn't cut it for giving that over the top service the restaurant was known for. It could have been Dennys as he did take the order, very uncaring, and once the food came his team mate offered a chance at parm for our pasta. Would I return, yes but if the same waiter showed up I would maybe take out! Food is always a+ / Atmosphere is Vico's And the prices were certainly high as they were before but without well trained professional service, it's missing that flair that was Vico's! Marco can't be duplicated but better understanding of fine service can be learned but not on the job!

We have eaten here before and were looking forward to it again, but the food (a pasta dish & veal dish) were lackluster/just so-so. Caesar salad was good, service was excellent. We'll go again but will make different choices.
Good experience and food was mostly great. The noodles in the spaghetti seafood were a bit undercooked but the sauce and seafood was delicious. Salad and appetizers were incredible. Definitely will give them another shot!
One of our favorite places in Fort Lauerdale for Italian. We sat in the cocktail lounge this time as it was just the two of us for Valentines Day. Found it very enjoyable! Cafe Vico is in our rotation because it offers a huge menu with classic Italian dishes all the way to their Italian Pork Chop and Steak selection for those who want the big proteins. Absolutely love this place.

Food and drinks were grotesquely overpriced. My fish stew had very little fish but nearly a pound of spagehtti for $69. Martinis were $22. The place was a "rip off". First and last visit.

Five star food and service at Cafe Vico. A favorite Italian restaurant in Pompano / Fort Lauderdale locale. Highly recommend dining at this gem. The menu options are outstanding...our veal dinner was one of the best we ever had.

This place is a must-go in Fort Lauderdale! Exceptional service, tasty food and drinks, and authentic ambiance. We ordered an aperol spritz, penne vodka, Cesar salads, surf and turf, and another pasta dish (forgot the name of it). They added the pasta dish to the surf and turf wooden board which was absolutely beautiful to look at presentation-wise. They had a live singer which elevated the ambiance. Overall, this dinner brought us back to Italy and created the perfect date night for us. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!
