Being a NYer, I am always suspicious of pizza outside of my city. At 2a, after a few drinks in my system, I needed something in the area I was staying at to absorb some of my alcohol before I went to sleep. I came up on this spot after seeing the "wood fire" naming convention which in my personal experiences makes for very good pizza. This place is not called half baked pizza. The location is correct and there is a pizza place here. It's in a rough spot on Ft Lauderdale beach and we found it late at night for a snack hoping they had wings etc. The place we found was a bit sketchy and only served pizza to go and canned soda. Also lots of strange folks around in the later hours. Anyway pizza was fantastic, a little burnt on the bottom but very delicious. People were great. Wood fired pies and calzones. Great bar next door. This one is a must. I'm an eater... the small calzone was too much but I ate it anyway. Before I broke it into the 3 pieces you see it was at least 16"
