Today my parents celebrated their wedding anniversary. They asked for steak & lobster dinner so we ordered to go dinners for them as they are elder. The order was complete with butter sauce for the lobster to sides of bacon / sour cream for the potato. No detail in the sides were left out! They got the prime rib dinner and the lobster tail dinner. They called me after we dropped off the dinners and they ate. They were both so happy that they had this gourmet delicious meal! They said it was excellent! Mom said best Cesar salad ever! Thank you Tropical Acres for the free celebratory cheese cake — they said it was amazing! So glad we ordered here. It made my parents celebration so special when nowadays they don’t go out much!

Location:: not so great. ambience:: Old-school like it was still the 1960s. Service:: impeccable. Steak: excellent however, it doesn’t come with much and The salad can improve, especially how it served. All in all, it was a different type of experience at a decent steakhouse. Just do you are aware, the crowd definitely is from the same era. 3.5stars as it was no Ruth Chris like experience but worth it.

What an excellent evening. The meal (as suggested by Tom Russo our bartender/server) was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the evening was simply fantastic. We are only in town briefly but coming back in December and will be sure to come back. Thank you Tom, and thank you to all the staff that helped make this a great evening. Ken and Starr

Great venue for a catered event and the food was yummy. There was plenty of room for dining and dancing and staff was super friendly.

My husband and son had the filet mignon. Very tender and delicious. I had the prime rib medium rare. Delicious. We all had the French onion soup. Delicious. Service was outstanding. No complaints

Upon searching for a restaurant near the airport Tropical Acres Steakhouse caught my eye and piqued my interest! An old world nostalgic gem tucked away off the beaten path from seaside bistros and waterfront dining! An old style farmhouse transformed into upscale steak and seafood restaurant! We started with signature cocktails, followed by your 2lb. ,lobster special, prime ribs that cut like cake with baked potato & creamed spinach! The rolls and butter were crispy and light! And our server Kate with her staff were at our beck on call! No prisoners for our fridge as we shared and relished on every bite and forkful!A new go to place even when we don’t have to do an airport run! No wonder you’ve been in business for almost 3/4 of a century! You must be doing something right!!?

Phenomenal experience. Reminder yourself that this is an Old Florida establishment, and enjoy it. Service, food, drinks....all were absolutely on point. Price was well under what we would pay downtown. Joseph was fantastic.

Great place! The food was really good, the only issue we had it was about a $50 bottle of wine. We first order a glass and then the bottle, it was NOT the same, but ok. Overall the steaks are really good!

This was my third time coming and the food and service never disappoints!! Honestly this is one of the only places that the service has not changed since covid!! Definitely recommend going before 5pm for the early bird special. It included a French onion soup which is delicious!! Entrée, two sides, dessert and a drink!! Also check out their butcher shop!!

Went on Tuesday for the first time because of the lobster special and came back on a Friday for the steaks. Lobster were juicy, sweet and perfectly cooked. We had the special cut fillet mignon and the sirloin with lobsters tails. The steaks were so perfectly cooked and seasoned we needed no added sauce no nothing. The fillet was delicious and the lobster tails perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. The fillet mignon 10oz med rare was the star for us. Every bite was simply perfect.
