“On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, we took friends to dinner who had never been to Connors before. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM for six guests. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and promptly escorted to our table.Once seated our waitress provided us with glasses of water while we were deciding on pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. We also decided to order a few appetizers to share with the table, including the Truffle Deviled Eggs and the Crispy Calamari, both of which are highly recommended. The calamari are extremely tender and very well seasoned.The main courses ranged from Ribeye Steaks, Halibut to the Citrus Marinated Shrimp. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their choices. The steaks were cooked as ordered, which is hard to come by these days. All entrees were delicious!Although we were pretty much stuffed, we decided on the German Upside Down Chocolate Cake and the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. The chocolate cake was absolutely my favorite... rich in chocolate, with a hint of coconut and a side of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely to die for and a must try! The shortcake was equally delicious, light and refreshing.Overall, yet another outstanding dining experience at Connors in Fort Myers! “My husband took me here for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Our server, Dani, was wonderful. I ordered the low country boil and it was delicious. Just what I wanted to celebrate my day. “The gal at the bar was amazing. We got there when they first opened but the service never stopped being great. I eat my steak blue rare so I should have ordered the filet. I prefer the ribeye but it was thin and grissley. Not their fault. The veggies didn't come as asked, but I picked out the extra stuff.I did see some prime rib go by and it looked pretty good. Probably have to go back and give it a try. The ambience was good.“
“Phenomenal location to watch the sunset! The food isn't shabby either! If you are brave, check out the alligator appetizer - tastes more like fish/chicken than alligator. We were even able to trick one of our less adventurous guests to finish several pieces before letting her know it was actually alligator!The fried platter of oysters, fish, shrimp and scallops was delicious! “I had lunch here twice in the last week. You would totally pass this place up by looking at the outside, Hurricane Ian did some damage to their awning and they have a tarp over it. But DON'T pass by, they have amazing food. First lunch I got the special which was 3 tacos, beef, chicken and grouper. Excellent. Second time the table got the grouper bites as an appetizer however for one person it would be a meal, soooo good. I got a hamburger as my meal. Excellent flavor. As I said don't pass this place by for lunch or dinner. Prices are extremely reasonable.“

“Publix their main goal is customer service. It's the only grocery store that the baggers will take your stuff out to the car. It is also very famous for their pub subs which are excellent. The bakery and the deli prepare fresh products everyday. We do online orders, catering, and designer cakes. They are the only grocery store where you can find Boar's Head products. The deli is very clean and so is the bakery. The deli slicers are cleaned down every 4 hours. The quality of their products is very exceptional. The store is always kept well stocked. If you cannot find something there are plenty of associates and managers that will escort you personally to where the item you're looking for is. You are always greeted with a smile and you are made to feel at home. The prices are a little higher however you will never find another grocery store that gives the best quality products and the best service.Vegetarian options: We have a huge variety of organic produce, they offer gluten-free products. There is a vegetarian section that supplies many types of products. The deli offers vegan subs and we also do all vegetable subs. They have wraps that are gluten free. For vegetarians that eat poultry and fish we have a large variety of products to choose from. The Boar's Head products are all cured poultry and cheeses they are made with only real ingredients there is no artificial colors, by-products and they are lower and sodium, contain no MSG,Dietary restrictions: People that are allergic to gluten have many options to choose from. We have a seafood department and are a meat department. That carries organic chicken and organic fish. They have a selection of adult and children's nutrients, dietary supplements and vitamins.“

The salad was greasy and I loved the homemade ginger dressing. The clear soup with mushrooms and spring onions was fantastic. The meat was less seasoned than I like, but the accompanying sauces made everything taste great. The Vegetable Uban was fresh. Next time I’ll get the thinner Soba noodles. They have a great spirits, wine and beer menu at reasonable prices. We had the Portlandia Pinot Noir, one of our favorite wines, and a Summer Delight that was light and refreshing.“

“This was our second visit to Taste of Europe. Our first time was with a group of twelve. While some of our friends didn’t have the same experience as we did, our food was excellent both times. We liked it so much that we returned for this second dinner. Our server, Tori, was very attentive. The service was great, and we enjoyed having conversation with her between courses and at the end of our meal. The restaurant owner, Julian, is a very gracious host. We look forward to returning with friends and will make Tase of Europe one of our “go-to” restaurants.“
